Decide if you can handle the transport
Tangjiahe is far from central Guangyuan. It works best with a car, a hired driver, or an overnight plan around Qingxi Ancient City or the reserve area.
Tip:A rushed same-day visit from Guangyuan gives little time for wildlife watching.

Enter early for wildlife chances
Wild animals are most active in the morning and near dusk. Keep noise low on the main road and at viewing points.

Choose one main route instead of chasing everything
Most first-time visitors use the main valley road toward deeper viewing areas, then add a short trail such as Motianling or a nearby forest walk if time and energy allow.

Facilities and food choices inside the reserve are limited. Mountain weather changes quickly, and mornings and evenings can be cool even in summer.
