Gucheng Mountain-Qili Gorge Scenic Area

Choose easy gorge walk or full hiking loop

Families and casual visitors should use the visitor center, vehicle, and easier Qili Gorge sections. Strong hikers can plan the longer loop toward Gucheng Mountain.

Use the sightseeing vehicle if time is short

The vehicle saves time between the visitor center and deeper gorge sections. It is useful for reaching waterfall and gorge areas without turning the day into a long road walk.

Carry supplies for the gorge

Food, water, and phone signal can be limited in the gorge. Bring enough water, snacks, and a charged phone.

Wear proper footwear

Stone paths, steps, and shaded gorge sections can be damp. Hiking shoes or grippy sneakers are much better than casual flats.

Leave enough daylight for the return

If you hike the longer loop, start early and keep a turnaround time. The area is remote, and late returns complicate transport.
