How to Visit
1

Book accommodation and tickets via official App

Download the '长隆旅游' (Chimelong) official WeChat mini-program or App. Book park tickets and accommodation together for the best value — package deals are significantly cheaper than booking separately.

Hotel + ticket packages offer the best savings; book at least 3 days ahead
2

Arrive at Hanxi Changlong Station

Take Metro Line 3 or 7 to Hanxi Changlong Station (汉溪长隆站), Exit E. Free shuttle buses run from Exit E to all resort areas every 15 minutes from 09:00–17:30.

Do NOT use the 'Zoo Station' — Hanxi Changlong is the correct stop

Day 1: Wildlife World (野生动物世界)

Start at opening time. Take the self-drive safari in the Africa Zone (included with ticket), then board the safari train. In the afternoon, take the aerial cable car over the animal zones and catch the White Tiger diving show and parade. Finish at Panda Village (enter via South Gate for shortest queues).

Arrive 30 minutes before opening on weekends and holidays
4

Day 2: Chimelong Paradise (欢乐世界) or Happy Circus

For thrill seekers: spend the day at Chimelong Paradise trying the vertical roller coaster, pendulum ride, and free-fall drop tower. Check real-time queue times on the App to skip lines. In the evening, attend the International Circus Show — considered one of China's best.

Circus show tickets from ¥100; book via the App
5

Day 3: Bird Park (飞鸟乐园)

Spend a half-day at the Bird Park watching the flying bird show and feeding pelicans. Walk the wetland boardwalks for close encounters with flamingos and other water birds. Afternoon: depart or explore nearby shopping.

The Bird Park is smaller than Wildlife World — 3-4 hours is sufficient
Highlights
  • China's largest wildlife park with 20,000+ animals from 500+ species
  • Self-drive safari in Africa Zone — drive through with lions, zebras, and giraffes outside your window
  • World's only self-breeding population of white tigers
  • Chimelong International Circus — world-class acrobatic show, one of China's best
  • Multiple accommodation options: Chimelong Hotel (flagship), Xiangjiang Hotel (value), Spaceship Hotel (panda-themed)
Insider Tips

Buy the 'Hotel + Ticket' package via the official App — saves ¥50-100 per person vs walk-up

Weekday visits have dramatically shorter queues; weekends can see 60-90 min waits for popular rides

Park lunches are expensive (¥80+ per person) — bring bread and snacks; fruit is not allowed through security

Self-driving through the Africa Zone is highly recommended over the safari train — more immersive

Download the '长隆旅游' App for real-time show schedules and queue length updates

Strollers available to rent at the Wildlife World entrance; essential for families with toddlers

Do NOT drive into the park — parking is expensive and the route overlaps with the safari train
