Idiom stories and myth-based attractions
Nuwa Mends the Sky tells a myth through a motion-simulator ride and glasses-free 3D. Crazy Idioms turns an idiom-chain game into a dome-screen adventure. A Dream of Yellow Millet combines live performers with 4D effects and suits visitors interested in stories behind Chinese idioms.
Meng Jiangnu is a large-scale stage show, not a daily performance; check the day’s program for whether it is showing and at what time. Bear Ridge Town is near the entrance, with bright scenery for photos with the costumed characters Xiong Da and Xiong Er.
Outdoor rides and night views
Flying Dragon in the Sky is a suspended roller coaster. Riding the Wind and Waves and Turning the River Upside Down are among the attractions for visitors who enjoy more intense rides. Families can choose gentler or outdoor attractions according to the ages of their group and that day’s operating list.
The park lights up after about 20:00. The area around Riding the Wind and Waves or Turning the River Upside Down offers an elevated view for night photos. Day admission, night admission, stage shows, and individual rides have separate schedules; check the day’s timetable before buying.
Build your day
A 5–6-hour counterclockwise route
Enter through the main gate and follow a counterclockwise route through Flying Dragon in the Sky, Riding the Wind and Waves, Crazy Idioms, and Nuwa Mends the Sky. Allow about 5–6 hours. This route focuses on outdoor attractions and includes two indoor experiences; queues for Nuwa Mends the Sky can be long on holidays, so check the app’s wait time after opening before choosing your first stop.
Riding the Wind and Waves is a water attraction. Check the day’s raincoat requirements before riding. Holiday wait times vary; use the official app to see current queues after you enter.
An all-day route that starts indoors
Enter in the morning and go first to Nuwa Mends the Sky, then Crazy Idioms, followed by A Dream of Yellow Millet or that day’s performance of Meng Jiangnu. In the afternoon, check wait times in the official app and fit in outdoor attractions such as Flying Dragon in the Sky and Riding the Wind and Waves around showtimes.
Keep an eye on individual ride closing times near the end of the day; some attractions stop operating 1–2 hours before the park closes. Exit through the only main gate. If you are staying for the night session, arrange your ride or shuttle from the park in advance.
Get there
Bus, driving, and parking
Take bus 802 from Handan West Bus Station directly to the park. If driving, navigate to “Handan Fantawild Oriental Legend”; parking costs about CNY 10 per day. The park has one main entrance; enter by the name archway.
Travel platforms also offer rides from downtown for about CNY 55 per person. Check the pickup point and schedule on the booking page. Ride demand is concentrated when the night session ends, so arrange your return vehicle or shuttle in advance.
Getting back after closing
The park is in Ci County, and demand for rides back to Handan rises when the night session ends. A car hailed on the spot may take time to arrive. Confirm the return shuttle and pickup point in advance rather than waiting until you leave.
Know before you go
Tickets, shows, and queues
Prices and day or night schedules vary by date. Check the official app or mini program for current details before buying. Meng Jiangnu does not have a fixed daily schedule; decide whether to include it based on that day’s program.
The official app shows queue times, and Nuwa Mends the Sky may have long waits on holidays. Some attractions stop operating 1–2 hours before closing, so the park’s 21:30 closing time does not mean every ride runs until then.
Raincoats, drinking water, and nearby stops
Riding the Wind and Waves is a water attraction, and raincoat materials and use requirements may change; check the ride’s rules for that day before boarding. Food in the park costs about CNY 50 per person or more. You can bring sealed snacks and a water bottle; hot-water stations are near the restrooms.
The Ye City Archaeological Museum and Cizhou Kiln Museum are possible cultural stops outside the park. If you are taking a ride back to Handan, use the pickup point specified in your transport booking.
