A layered visit inside a 336-metre tower
Dragon Tower is at 178 Changjiang Road in Nangang District. It is 336 metres high and combines broadcast transmission, observation, dining and exhibitions. The main entrance is at the tower plaza, where the visitor service centre and ticket office are located. The observation ticket and packages including 5D, VR, the revolving restaurant or flight experiences are sold separately.
The observation ticket is currently around CNY 79–150. No reservation is required; tickets may be bought through the official WeChat account, Meituan or Ctrip. Current listed hours are 09:00–20:00, with entry stopping at 19:30. A quick route takes about 1–2 hours and a full route about 3–4 hours. Views from above depend on weather, maintenance and your mobility.
Know what each height contains
At 181 metres is the Cloud Walk glass walkway, at 186 metres the Yunshang revolving Western restaurant, at 190 metres the outdoor observation platform and at 206 metres the blessing hall. The first and second floors also have a flight-experience hall and dinosaur exhibition. Each height has different content; check whether shoe covers, experiences and food are included in your package.
The outdoor platform is windy and cold. The glass walkway has a shoe-cover fee of around CNY 10, which some packages may not include. Visitors with a fear of heights, vertigo, knee problems or difficulty with stairs can focus on the indoor exhibitions and the inner observation ring with glass wind protection.

The 190-metre outdoor observation platform
The 190-metre platform gives a 360-degree outline of Harbin. The inner ring has glass wind protection, while the outer ring is open. The outer ring is more exposed to wind, temperature and visibility, so sunset, afterglow and night views change with the weather.
Stand safely when photographing from height. Avoid staying on the outer ring in strong wind, snow or poor visibility. If you want sunset, reach the platform before the tower lights come on, as early lighting can affect views of the western sky and city outline.
The 181-metre glass walkway and 186-metre revolving restaurant
The 181-metre Cloud Walk wraps around the tower and gives a downward view through transparent glass; weather or maintenance can make the glass hazy. The 186-metre Yunshang revolving Western restaurant takes about 90 minutes for one rotation. Window seats require an advance phone reservation, and food and observation tickets are separate.
Exhibitions on Floors 1–2 and the 206-metre blessing hall
The flight-experience hall and dinosaur exhibition on Floors 1–2 suit families, visitors interested in aviation and space, or anyone who wants to begin indoors. The 206-metre blessing hall is higher up; its opening and package arrangements depend on the day's ticket and on-site instructions.

Build your day
1–2-hour route with views from above
After entering, take the high-speed lift to the 186-metre Yunshang restaurant level, then follow the open route to the 181-metre glass walkway and 190-metre outdoor platform. After the glass walkway and outer or inner viewpoints, return to the lift level and follow the exit signs.
This route suits limited time and visitors who mainly want the observation spaces. Shoe covers, stairs and weather add time. If the outer ring is closed or visibility is poor, stay in the inner ring or indoor floors rather than waiting for outdoor conditions to improve.
3–4-hour full route
Enter around 10:00, first visit the free flight-experience hall and dinosaur exhibition on Floors 1–2, then have a meal at the 186-metre revolving restaurant level. After eating, visit the 181-metre glass walkway and 190-metre outdoor platform, and add the 206-metre blessing hall if open.
For sunset photographs, finish the indoor exhibitions and meal before sunset and allow time for the platform, shoe covers and queues. If the tower lights come on early or the weather worsens, use the inner ring and indoor exhibitions with better visibility.
Choose the observation and dining combination
Window seats require a phone reservation, and the revolving restaurant takes about 90 minutes per rotation. If no suitable seat is available, complete the observation route first and eat outside the tower or nearby. Packages containing 5D, VR and flight experiences differ, so check what is included before buying.
There is no need to force the outdoor ring, glass walkway, revolving restaurant and blessing hall into one visit. Choose the main experiences according to weather, fear of heights, companions' mobility and budget.
Get there
Bus and metro
Bus routes 7, 24, 71 and 112 stop at Dragon Tower Station. You can also take the metro to Renmin Square Station or Yida Yiyuan Station (医大一院站), then walk or change to a bus towards 178 Changjiang Road. After getting off, follow the direction of the tower plaza and main entrance.
Driving and parking
The attraction has a dedicated car park; parking may be free with a ticket, and spaces are generally described as relatively plentiful. You still need to walk to the visitor service centre and lift entrance after parking. Follow the car-park exit when leaving rather than looking for the vehicle around the tower plaza.
Outside viewpoints
Xiangjiang Park works for full-tower and night photographs. Access to the rooftop of the Xiangfang Wanda apartment complex may be closed. For a full view of the tower, use only public roads and public exterior areas where viewing is permitted.

Weather and the glass walkway
The 181-metre glass walkway requires shoe covers, with a fee of around CNY 10 that some packages may not include. The 190-metre outer ring has no wind protection; wind, cold, snow and visibility all affect the experience. If the glass is hazy from weather or maintenance, choose the inner ring or indoor floors.
The outdoor platforms and glass walkway include stairs, queues and narrow passages. Wear shoes with good grip. Visitors with a fear of heights or limited mobility can reduce the outdoor portion. Do not lean on railings, cross safety lines or stop in the centre of a passage for photographs.
