Location and entrances
Situ Town is in Situ Village, Beishidian Town, Jincheng urban district. The North Gate is near Jinshang Family Feast, and there is also a West Gate. The park is large, and the entrance you use changes the walking order for Liuchi Lane, the old street, and the performance venues. Pick up a map or check the day's guide when you enter.
Allow about 4–5 hours. If you want daytime activities, an immersive show, the circus, and a night performance, plan a full day. Entry is free, while performance passes are paid; the usable attractions follow the ticket, programme, and park notice for the day.
Tickets and validity
Entry is free. A performance pass costs about RMB 120–138 per person and may list “Millennium Iron Soul,” “Back to Old Shanxi,” and the International Circus. Outside public holidays, the pass is usually valid for two days; during holidays it may be valid for one. Concession terms for students, visitors aged 65 or above, service members, and visitors with disabilities follow the rules for the day.
The park is open 08:00–22:00. Whether a pass includes meals, snacks, costume hire, performances, or other redemption activities varies by ticket and date. Read each item when buying rather than planning around an old package.

Performances and folk streets
“Millennium Iron Soul” centres on iron-flower casting, with molten iron at about 1,600°C. “Back to Old Shanxi” is a moving immersive show in which the audience follows the actors. The International Circus includes acts such as Globe of Death motorcycle riding and the Wheel of Death. The three performances have different content and schedules, so choose around your interests rather than fitting all of them into one time slot.
Liuchi Lane, the Lantern Wall, and the old street are good daytime settings for photographs in traditional costume. At night, the lit streets suit environmental and documentary-style photos. Folk acrobatics, lion dances, and NPC interactions may also appear during the day; their schedule and participation rules follow the programme for the day.
Families, food, and costumes
Indoor and outdoor play facilities are available. Families can make Liuchi Lane, lighter interactive activities, and one performance the main plan, then add the play areas according to the children. Costume hire near the North Gate may be free for about three hours, depending on the day; sizes, stock, and opening hours are confirmed on site.
Some tickets list breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks, and may offer “silver tickets” for food or activities. These are ticket benefits, so confirm the serving points, queues, and redemption rules after entering. Self-paid snacks include Gaoping fried tofu, stir-fried liangfen, and Jincheng fried pork; prices and taste depend on the individual shop.

About 4–5 hours: performance route
Enter through the North Gate, pick up a map, and walk along Liuchi Lane and the snack street while seeing the daytime folk performances listed for the day. Arrive 20–30 minutes before the main evening show and choose “Millennium Iron Soul” or another item from the programme. Visitors coming mainly for the iron-flower show can put it at the centre of the itinerary and visit the other streets first.
Leave through the nearest open exit after the performance, or continue with night activities if the park notice allows. Night venues, dispersal times, and transport may change. Use the map to check the walking direction between the car park and the North or West Gate.
About 1 day: complete route
Enter through the North Gate at around 08:00 and start with Liuchi Lane and the old street. If costume hire is available, spend about three hours on the costume experience under the day's rules. If NPC activities are running, collect or redeem “silver tickets” according to the rules; the redemption items follow the day's arrangement.
At midday, check whether the ticket includes knife-cut noodles, chuan soup, or another meal, then eat at the listed serving point according to the queue. In the afternoon, see “Back to Old Shanxi,” the International Circus, and other daytime shows, then return in the evening for “Millennium Iron Soul” or the programme's final event. Leave enough movement time between daytime and evening venues based on the show times.

High-speed rail and city buses
As of September 2026, Situ Town has no direct service among the 25 tourist lines published from Jincheng Coach East Station. From the station or central Jincheng, use the city-bus notice for the day to reach the North or West Gate, or take a taxi; the ride is about 20 minutes. Stops and schedules follow the information for the day.
Driving and toll-reimbursement activities
Navigate to “Situ Town Car Park 2” or the area near “Jinshang Family Feast.” Parking is about RMB 10 per day. The park may run an activity that reimburses up to RMB 120 in one-way expressway tolls against a receipt or ETC record. Submission through the Situ Town mini-program may be required, and expired claims are not accepted; check whether the activity, dates, and required documents apply on the day.
The North and West Gates have different parking and walking routes. Use the map to reach the performance venues after parking. When an itinerary spans day and night, check the dispersal exit, vehicle location, and return transport together.

Programme and ticket benefits
Iron-flower, immersive-show, and circus times may shift slightly each day. Pick up the paper programme or check the official mini-program after entering. The pass price of about RMB 120–138, validity, meals, costume hire, redemptions, and included performances follow the ticket. The performances, food, and activities you can actually use are the items listed on that day's ticket.
Wear dark, relatively covering clothing for the iron-flower show and keep a safe distance from the molten iron and stage. Outdoor temperatures are lower at night, so bring a light jacket. Arrive about 20–30 minutes early for popular shows; queues and seating follow the on-site organization.
Meals, pets, and the return
Food stalls may have queues. If the ticket includes a meal, use the specified serving point within the stated time; self-paid food is separate from the ticket benefits. Pets cannot enter the park. A pet-sitting cage may be available at the entrance, but ask about conditions and capacity before arrival.
For toll reimbursement, keep the receipt or ETC record and submit it through the mini-program as required; late claims cannot be added. Hotels are available in central Jincheng or around 10–15 minutes by car from the park. After a night show, leave according to the car-park location and the dispersal transport for the day.
