Two entrances and the visiting area
Wangmang Ridge is in Yingpan Village, Guguo Township, Lingchuan County, Jincheng. The main entrance is the Wolongchang Visitor Centre at the foot of the mountain, and the walk to the cableway station is relatively long. The Xiyagou Visitor Centre is halfway up the mountain and suits visitors short on time or hoping to reduce the uphill section. Entry there still follows Wangmang Ridge's own ticket, cableway, and sightseeing-vehicle arrangements.
This attraction focuses on summit views, cloud seas, sunrise, the cableway, and sightseeing transport. Xiyagou's free bottom paths, Longtan Waterfall, and village are covered separately. The two can be combined, but confirm the entrance, paid area, parking side, and walking objective for each.
Tickets and opening
The high-season ticket, March to November, is RMB 70 per person; the low-season ticket, December to February, is RMB 50. A package including admission, cableway, and sightseeing bus is about RMB 180 per person. Students and visitors aged 60 or above may receive concessions; the ticket type and transport combination follow the sales page for the day.
Opening hours are 08:00–18:00. The cableway, sightseeing service, walking trails, and Kunshan Hanging Road may change with weather, construction, traffic, or one-way controls. The park's opening hours do not replace the last-departure times for each transport service.

Summit views, sunrise, and cloud seas
The summit is about 1,700 metres above sea level. Riguantai and Riyuetai are the main viewpoints for sunrise, cloud seas, and the Taihang peaks. Clouds may appear after rain clears, while morning temperature and wind can change quickly; photographers should coordinate the sunrise with the first cableway service.
Little Taihang, the glass walkway, and the summit trails add high-level viewpoints. Visitors wanting a broad mountain panorama can enter fully from Wolongchang. Those with average fitness or limited time can consider the easier approach through the Xiyagou Visitor Centre. The entrance changes the amount of uphill walking, not the main Wangmang Ridge ticket rules.
Hanging roads and mountain transport
The sightseeing bus can carry visitors along Xiyagou's hanging road, where the cliff and gorge can be viewed through the bus windows and roof “skylights.” This is a different transport experience from the summit cableway and viewpoints. The Kunshan Hanging Road is best photographed from an open viewpoint; Liushuiting outside the attraction can be a free panoramic photo stop, subject to parking and access on the day.
Visitors who enjoy mountain scenery, cloud seas, cableways, and hanging roads can combine these sections. For a summit-only visit, concentrate on the cableway and viewpoints. The hanging road is narrow and operates in timed one-way sections; drivers unfamiliar with the mountain should not enter restricted stretches themselves.

About 3–4 hours: easier route
Enter through the Xiyagou Visitor Centre's Wangmang Ridge route, take the cableway up, and visit Riguantai, Riyuetai, and the other summit highlights. Take the sightseeing bus through Xiyagou's hanging road, then return. This reduces foot travel from the mountain base and suits visitors short on time or those who want to avoid a long uphill walk.
Before departure, buy the Wangmang Ridge ticket, cableway, and sightseeing combination shown on the current sales page. The easier Xiyagou entrance does not make Wangmang Ridge transport free. Check the last cableway and sightseeing departures and set summit time around the return stop.
About 5–6 hours: complete route
Enter at the Wolongchang Visitor Centre and take the cableway up. Visit Little Taihang, the viewpoints, and the glass walkway, then take the sightseeing bus across the hanging road to the Xiyagou area for its multi-level waterfalls. Return to the main-attraction exit or follow the day's transport back to the side where you parked. The Wolongchang route is more complete, but the walk from the foot of the mountain to the cableway is longer.
The summit and bottom sections require different amounts of time. Finish the cableway ascent and summit views first, then arrange the hanging road and waterfalls on the way down. If a walking trail closes temporarily, use the cableway and sightseeing alternatives. Return according to whether your car is at Wolongchang or Xiyagou.
Get there
Driving and parking
Drive to the Xiyagou Tunnel and continue to the Xiyagou Visitor Centre; parking there is about RMB 10 per day. Parking at Wolongchang is about RMB 20 per visit. The two car parks correspond to different entrances, so choose the parking side together with the return exit.
Within the main attraction, Wolongchang, the Xiyagou Visitor Centre, the cableway station, and the bottom sights connect by cableway, sightseeing transport, or walking. A private car does not replace this internal transport. Enter the Visitor Centre or tunnel clearly in the navigation target; searching only for “Wangmang Ridge” may send the car to the wrong entrance.
Public transport and roads
From Jincheng Coach East Station, take Tourist Line 5 to Wangmang Ridge. The current unified fare is RMB 1. Check departures, stops, and return service in the bus notice for the day. Public-transport visitors need to coordinate the last summit cableway, the sightseeing service downhill, and the vehicle leaving the attraction; return choices in the mountains are limited.
The Kunshan Hanging Road is narrow, timed, and one-way in sections. Use the sightseeing service or view it from an open viewpoint rather than replacing official tickets with unofficial low-price access. Weather, road conditions, and traffic controls may change the driving entrance and return.
Know before you go
Cableway, sightseeing transport, and changing roads
The walking trail may close. Check summit access, the uphill cableway, the hanging-road bus route, and the bottom waterfall area separately. The package price of about RMB 180 is a current reference only; the specific transport items, validity period, and return method included in the ticket follow the sales information for the day.
The Kunshan Hanging Road has narrow, one-way, and timed sections, so novice drivers should not enter it. Sightseeing vehicles and other internal transport may also change with traffic. Wind is strong and temperature differences are clear at the summit; bring a light jacket even in summer and stay inside the barriers on walkways and viewpoints.
Views, maps, and supplies
Pick up a map or check the guide after entering, and mark the cableway station, Riguantai, Riyuetai, hanging road, and return boarding point. The glass walkway, summit trails, and waterfall section have different opening conditions. Do not cross barriers or stop in the vehicle lane for photographs.
There is a scenic restaurant at the summit serving simple meals such as lamb-and-noodle soup. In Lingchuan town, look for fried pork, knife-cut noodles, sweet-and-sour rolled noodles, and fresh pork buns. On the longer route, water, a light jacket, and shoes with good grip matter more than searching for supplies at the last minute.
