Entrance, season and tickets
Dream Valley is in Hengdian Town, Dongyang, Jinhua, Zhejiang, and is an independent theme park. When the water world is operating in summer, Gate 4 is more convenient. In other seasons, or if you are not using the water attractions, choose the Gate 6 area for land attractions and the aquarium according to the day’s arrangements.
Reference summer hours are 13:00–21:00. In other seasons, the water world is closed and the operating period usually begins later in the afternoon. Dream Valley may be included in a Hengdian multi-park pass or sold separately, and the rides and performances may not all be included in the same ticket type.
How much time to allow
Allow 4–5 hours if you want water attractions, rides and an evening performance. The park suits visitors interested in water activities, rides, marine animals and large-scale live performances. Families should first check which attractions their children can use, then choose the entrance and route.

Water world, land attractions and the aquarium
The water world is a summer-only area with a wave pool and several slides. When it is closed, spend your time in the land attractions, children’s areas or Dream Dolphin Bay. Different attractions have their own height, weight or health requirements, so read the on-site signs before joining a queue.
Dream Valley may schedule disaster-themed live performances, marine-animal shows and evening activities. The content and operation of performances and attractions depend on weather, the season and operations, so use the day’s programme as the basis for choosing what to see.
Who it suits
Younger visitors can combine larger slides, rides and an evening performance. Families can choose children’s attractions, the wave pool and the aquarium to reduce repeated queues caused by height limits. Anyone who does not want to swim can use the land attractions or wait in a rest area.
Dream Valley is large, and combining afternoon water activities with night programmes uses a lot of energy. With children, include time for changing, drinking water and resting instead of trying to complete every attraction.
Build your day
A summer water-and-evening route
In summer, enter through Gate 4 and first plan around the water world’s day-of operating status. Then move to the aquarium or land attractions, and choose an evening performance with available seating after dusk. Water activities require time to change and get organised, so do not estimate the whole day only from queue times.
If you want a live performance, confirm the theatre location and entry rules early. Rain or severe weather may change outdoor performances. If an attraction is paused, switch to the aquarium, children’s area or an indoor rest area before deciding whether to wait.
A relaxed family route
Enter through Gate 4 and start at Children’s Dream Factory. Then choose a children’s pool, wave pool or the aquarium according to the child’s height and interests. Skip slides that are unsuitable for younger children and leave time for meals, changing and rest.
If the children are already tired at night, leave early rather than staying only to wait for a programme. Before leaving, check your changing items, locker and pick-up point to reduce searching after the crowds disperse.
A land-attractions route outside the water season
When the water world is closed, enter around Gate 6, see the land attractions and aquarium first, then decide whether to stay into the evening according to the day’s opening content. Some rides have height, weight or health requirements; check each one before queueing.
If you are also visiting Qin Palace Scenic Area or Along the River During the Qingming Festival Scenic Area, confirm Dream Valley’s own opening and last-entry times first. It is close to the other southern parks, but its tickets, entrances and programme arrangements remain separate.
Get there
High-speed rail, light rail and transport within Hengdian
From Yiwu Station, reaching Hengdian by taxi usually takes about one hour. Dream Valley is about 20 minutes by car from Hengdian Station. You can also take light rail from Jinhua Station or Jinhua South Station to Ming and Qing Palace Station, then transfer to a bus or taxi.
Tell the driver which gate you are using: confirm Gate 4 first when visiting the water world in summer, and follow the on-site signs toward the Gate 6 area in other seasons. The gate affects your changing facilities, lockers and first walking section.
Driving and parking
Drivers can navigate to the Dream Valley parking area and enter through whichever gate is open that day. Vehicles concentrate in the southern area during holidays, so note where the car is parked before entering and do not rely only on automatic map positioning when leaving.
If you plan to transfer to another park or your accommodation at night, confirm the car collection and pick-up point before entering. The end of the water world, performances and closing time may bring crowds together, so allow extra time for the return.
Know before you go
Water-attraction limits and equipment
Most large water slides usually require visitors to be at least 1.4 m tall and may set a weight range of about 40–80 kg. Follow the sign and staff decision for each attraction on the day. With children, confirm which attractions they can use before buying or planning a water-world route.
Bring swimwear, a waterproof phone pouch, a towel and slippers. Changing rooms, lockers and showers can make the visit take longer to organise, so include changing, drinking water and time to clean up at your hotel in the itinerary.
Weather, queues and supplies
Outdoor performances, water facilities and some rides may pause in bad weather. Popular attractions may queue after opening, and live performances require arriving early. If the wait is too long, switch to the aquarium, children’s area or land attractions.
Food inside the park is usually expensive, so carry water and a small snack. Combining water activities with evening programmes is tiring. Slow down around wet surfaces, stairs and crowded areas, and do not run.
