The three-floor main exhibition
The main hall has three floors: War History, Supporting the Front and Martyrs. The sequence moves from the fighting to the supply effort and the people involved. If you have limited time, choose one section and pair it with a panorama show.
The “Assault on Jinzhou” panorama
The “Assault on Jinzhou” panorama (攻克锦州) combines an approximately 122-meter circular image with physical foreground scenery, sound and lighting. The viewing platform rotates, and recorded narration is scheduled every 30 minutes. The outdoor weapons park displays tanks, aircraft and artillery; the “Hero Tank” is a replica.
The memorial tower and outdoor displays
The memorial tower stands by the South Gate Square, with the main exhibition hall close to the entrance. You can view the outdoor weapons from the paths and photograph them from the visitor areas. Do not touch the displays.
Build your day
Short visit: about 1.5–2 hours
Start at the South Gate and memorial tower, then visit the main hall, panorama and weapons park. Before entering the one-way interior route, ask when the next panorama show begins. You may not be able to return through the hall after passing through, so do not leave the panorama until the end.
Longer visit: about 3–4 hours
Begin at the square and tower, then visit the first-floor war history section, the second-floor support section and the third-floor martyrs section. Continue to the panorama and outdoor weapons park. Shows run every 30 minutes; the final show is scheduled for 17:30 in peak season and 16:30 in winter. Check the holiday schedule if arriving near closing.
One-way indoor route and show times
The main hall uses a one-way visitor route. Confirm the panorama direction and next show before you enter, then follow signs if any exhibition floor is temporarily closed.
