Bao Zheng court spaces
The Main Hall is the central space for the Bao Zheng courtroom theme, with three bronze execution blades: the Dragon-head, Tiger-head, and Dog-head blades. Qingxin Tower, the West Prison of the Office, and Mirror Lake offer different additions to the visit: a raised viewpoint, government-office displays, and an evening lakeside scene.

Enter through the Government Gate, view the day's programme, and move between the Government Gate Square, Main Hall, and Qingxin Tower according to the sessions. The schedule may show Welcoming Guests at about 09:00, Bao Zheng Tries the Case at about 09:30, and The Matchmaker at the Examination List at about 10:30. These times change with the day's arrangements.
Between performances, visit the Main Hall, Qingxin Tower, and the West Prison of the Office, with the three bronze blades as the main stop in the Main Hall. If the day's sessions differ, keep the Government Gate, Main Hall, and Qingxin Tower as the core route, then use any remaining time for the displays.
A daytime route with the night programme
With a combined daytime-and-night ticket, follow the daytime route and remain inside the attraction towards evening. After 18:00, use the night schedule to choose performances such as Water Moon, Cloud Sky and Tokyo Fantasy Market. After 20:00, go to the Government Gate Square for that day's session of South Office: A Thousand Autumns of Justice.
Leave through the Government Gate direction after the night programme. Mirror Lake is useful during a gap before the final show. The end time changes with the programme, so arrange your ride home with the departing crowd in mind.
Separate ticket arrangements
Daytime tickets and combined daytime-and-night tickets have different entry limits and night-access conditions. Read the ticket type carefully at purchase. Public transport and entrance
Bus routes 1, 4, 5, 29, 31, and tourist bus Y1 stop at or near “Kaifeng Government Office” (开封府). Use the Government Gate, the main entrance, as the navigation target. Enter through the on-site visitor route after arrival.
Parking
There is a car park at the South Gate of Kaifeng Government Office, costing about CNY 10 per visit. The car park and the Government Gate are different entrances, so follow the walking route to the main entrance after parking.
