Treat White Pagoda as another old-city viewpoint
Langzhong White Pagoda is around Baita Mountain and is good for open views of the old city, Jialing River, and Jinping Mountain direction.
Tip:Like Jinping Mountain, it is a viewpoint, but White Pagoda is more about the tower-climb angle, with narrower space and more need for safety awareness.

Choose taxi access or a walking climb
The easiest option is to take a taxi or drive near White Pagoda Park, then walk to the base of the pagoda. If you want a light hike, you can also climb from the foot of the hill.
Tip:Walking up takes extra energy, so do not underestimate the return.

Slow down when climbing the pagoda
The internal staircase is narrow and steep, and it is not suitable for people to pass side by side.
Tip:Give way when going up or down, and do not stop for long photos inside the stairwell. If it is crowded or someone in your group dislikes heights, staying at the base for the view is also fine.

Go in the afternoon for better light
Afternoon or late afternoon light is softer, making the old-city rooftops, river surface, and distant hills look better.
Tip:Night views can also be attractive, but think ahead about downhill transport and walking safety.

✦Do not force a tower climb in rain or after dark; both visibility and safety are worse.
✦If you have already visited Jinping Mountain and are short on time, choose one viewpoint rather than trying to cover both.
