How to Visit

Decide whether the cableway fits the season
Hours are 09:00-18:00 from February to April; 08:30-18:30 from May to June; 08:00-19:30 from July to August; and 09:00-18:00 from September to 10 November. It is closed from 11 November to 31 January.
Tip:The winter closure is a fixed seasonal restriction, so summer or autumn hours cannot be used for winter plans.

Choose a one-way or return journey
Uphill and downhill journeys are ticketed separately; ride both ways if mobility is limited, or ride uphill and walk down through Baitashan if you want a longer view route.
Tip:Decide how to descend before going up, rather than changing plans on the mountain because of time or fatigue.

Board at the lower station on Nanbinhe East Road 328
Walk or take a taxi from Zhongshan Bridge, Waterwheel Garden, or the riverside promenade to the lower station, then cross the Yellow River toward Baitashan.
Tip:Cabin capacity is limited at busy times, so do not use the cableway as an instant transfer between tightly timed activities.

Explore Baitashan after reaching the upper station
Follow the formal park paths to the viewpoints, then descend by the cableway or walking route selected earlier.
Tip:The hilltop is often cooler and windier than the riverbank, especially near sunset.

Use a land route if operations change
If high winds, thunderstorms, or maintenance affect service, walk up Baitashan from the Zhongshan Bridge area instead.
Tip:Do not go up close to the day's closing time if you intend to rely on the cableway for your return.
