Longji Ancient Zhuang Village is for slow walking, not rushing. It is one of the quieter, more cultural parts of Longji, with old village lanes, traditional houses, and farmland.
Tip:Its value is the village atmosphere, not a fast viewpoint collection.

Walk instead of looking for a cable car
The village sits inside the wider Longji scenic area, so the main entrance ticket still applies. Unlike Jinkeng, this area does not depend on a cable car.
Tip:Most of the visit is on foot through the village and nearby viewpoints.

Give the village enough time
Allow 1-2 hours for the main village and nearby terraces. If you want photos, a meal, or time to look at old houses, 2-3 hours feels better.

Pair it with Ping'an if needed
You can visit the Ancient Zhuang Village first, then continue to Ping'an Zhuang Village. It also works as a quiet half-day stop away from the busiest routes.
