The library building and garden layout
Tianyi Pavilion Library is the main focus. The building is mainly viewed from its surrounding courtyard and overall fire-prevention layout, while access to upper areas follows the on-site opening rules. The Fan family residence, Dongming Cottage, Tianyi Pond and the South Garden extend the visit into a series of courtyards with doors, walls and water features to observe.
Qin Ancestral Hall and the Sedan Chair Hall
Qin Ancestral Hall shows Jiangnan ancestral-hall wood carving, stage design and interior layout. The Sedan Chair Hall presents Ningbo red-and-gold lacquered wood carving. The Mahjong Origins Exhibition Hall adds a local cultural-history theme for visitors interested in folk customs and everyday life.
Who should choose this visit
History and culture enthusiasts can focus on the library, stele forest, ancestral halls and local displays. Architecture photographers can use the courtyards, red walls and timber details, while families can choose the Mahjong or genealogy-related displays according to interest rather than rushing through every section.
