Plan at a glance
Area and main entrances
Plan a Nandaihe (南戴河) visit around Nandaihe International Entertainment Center (南戴河国际娱乐中心), Tianma Bathing Beach (天马浴场), and Azure Coast (蔚蓝海岸). They offer rides, a public beach, and a relaxed community setting, respectively. The entertainment center is at 999 Yanhai Road in Funing District. The beaches at Tianma and Azure Coast are free to access and do not require reservations.
Tickets and time needed
In peak season, an adult ticket for Nandaihe International Entertainment Center is about RMB 129; student and child tickets are about RMB 79, and children under 1.2 m are generally admitted free. The park is open about 8:00 am–5:30 pm. Tickets can be bought online or on site, and no reservation is required. Allow a full day for the park. If you also want time at the beach and Azure Coast, plan for 1–2 days. Coastal activities depend on the weather and tides.

Choose your visit
Rides, beach, and family activities
Nandaihe International Entertainment Center has the Daihe Eye Ferris Wheel (戴河之眼), roller coasters, a water park, and beach activities. The Ferris wheel is 88 m tall and looks out over the sea. Tianma Bathing Beach is good for a walk or shell collecting on the mudflats at low tide. Azure Coast has a non-powered adventure playground, a small-animal park, and the Mao de Tiankong Zhicheng (猫的天空之城) bookstore.
Choose a combination that suits you
Families with children can split the amusement park and Azure Coast over two days to avoid spending the whole trip in ride queues. Visitors seeking thrill rides can devote a full day to the entertainment center. At sunset, the Xianluo Island (仙螺岛) cable car makes a distant silhouette from Tianma Beach. The Daihe Eye works well against a blue sky or evening clouds; take action shots on the sand-sledding and grass-sledding runs, and pose with the sea behind the beach's cloud swing.
Build your day
A full day at the entertainment center
After the park opens, head first to popular rides such as the Daihe Eye and roller coaster. Then choose the water park or beach activities based on what is open that day, and leave in the evening. The park is large, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Lockers, showers, and some attractions may cost extra; check which activities are operating and which are paid separately when you enter.
One and a half to two days along the coast
On the first day, spend the morning on rides at Nandaihe International Entertainment Center, then go to Tianma Bathing Beach later in the afternoon for a walk and sea views. On a clear day, you can see the Xianluo Island cable car in the distance. On the second day, take a slower break at the Azure Coast bookstore, small-animal park, and playground. If you want to explore the mudflats, time your beach visit around low tide.
Time a beach walk around the tide
Check the day's tide times before setting out and bring your own tools for shell collecting. If you arrive outside the low-tide window, there may be little to find on the mudflats. Follow the day's weather and beach-access notices for swimming or a walk. Do not continue toward the water when the tide is rising or the waves are changing.
Get there
From Beidaihe Railway Station
Beidaihe Railway Station is the main rail connection for Nandaihe. Bus 22 goes directly to Nandaihe; the fare is about RMB 2. A taxi takes around 20 minutes and costs about RMB 30. If driving, navigate to the specific venue; parking at Nandaihe International Entertainment Center is about RMB 20 per day.
Coastal buses and parking
Some buses, including route 809, run infrequently, so check the day's service before heading to a beach. Ride-hailing cars can also be difficult to find during peak season. Public parking near Tianma Beach fills up quickly in peak season; plan how you will get back before finishing your coastal outing.
Know before you go
Separate park tickets from other costs
The Nandaihe International Entertainment Center ticket covers only the attractions listed for that ticket. The public beaches at Tianma Bathing Beach and Azure Coast are free. Water-park access, lockers, showers, and other activities may be charged separately; check the ticket terms and on-site prices. Food inside the park is relatively expensive, so bring water and a few snacks.
Weather, tides, and operating changes
Coastal plans depend on the weather, so check the forecast before leaving. Check tide times for mudflat activities, and confirm which rides and water-park areas are open that day. The beach and amusement park have limited shade in strong sun, so bring sun protection. If winds or waves pick up or an attraction closes, take a break at the bookstore or another indoor rest area.
Food and places to rest
You may bring drinking water into Nandaihe International Entertainment Center. For a meal in the area, consider Xiangyun Jiujia (祥云酒家), which serves handmade shrimp dumplings and chicken braised with clams. The Mao de Tiankong Zhicheng (猫的天空之城) bookstore at Azure Coast is a good place for a slower break. Dining options near Xianluo Island are limited, so do not rely on the island for your meal.
