Entrance and transport products
Yishan Scenic Area is entered through the East Gate, which is also the main ticket, parking and internal-transport hub. Drivers can use “Yishan Scenic Area East Gate Parking Lot”; parking is approximately CNY 10 per day. A taxi from Qingzhou Station takes about 40–60 minutes, and buses to Yishan run from Linqu Bus Station.
The adult ticket is approximately CNY 80–85, and the round-trip sightseeing bus costs CNY 30. The scenic area covers roughly 30 kilometres, so the bus is the main way to move between sections. Cable cars, slides and other activities cost extra, and their price and operation depend on the day. Allow about 3–4 hours for the short route or 5–6 hours for the mountain route.
How the area is laid out
Yuhuangding, Dongzhen Temple, Shenlong Grand Canyon, Fayun Temple and Baizhangya Waterfall sit at different trail and transport points. The sightseeing bus only reaches Shenlong Grand Canyon Station at mid-mountain; it does not take visitors directly to Yuhuangding. The summit still requires walking, a cable-car transfer or another option available that day.

Yuhuangding and the summit view
Yuhuangding is about 1,032 metres above sea level. The summit includes Yuhuang Pavilion, Wanghaiting and Tanhai Stone. On a clear day, the view reaches across the surrounding mountains; early morning or the period after rain can bring cloud seas, but visibility changes with the weather.
Dongzhen Temple, Fayun Temple and Baizhangya
Dongzhen Temple and its stele collection suit a cultural route focused on the area’s imperial worship history. Fayun Temple, its old pines and Shenlong Grand Canyon add forest walking. Baizhangya Waterfall lies on the deeper downhill route and works well with Fayun Temple as part of the return section.
Nature, hiking and history visitors can choose the longer route. Families and casual visitors can use the sightseeing bus and focus on Yuhuangding or Dongzhen Temple to reduce long-distance walking. Cable cars, slides and other activities do not run on a fixed year-round schedule.

3–4-hour bus-and-cable-car route
From the East Gate, take the sightseeing bus to the relevant transfer point and, if operating that day, change to the cable car for the climb. Visit Yuhuangding, Yuhuang Pavilion and Tanhai Stone, then return by cable car and sightseeing bus to the East Gate. If time allows, make a short stop at Dongzhen Temple.
This route suits visitors with limited time or anyone who does not want to climb the entire mountain. The sightseeing bus stops at Shenlong Grand Canyon Station, after which you still need to walk; Yuhuangding is not directly served by the bus.
5–6-hour mountain route
Take the sightseeing bus from the East Gate to Shenlong Grand Canyon Station, then walk uphill toward Yuhuangding. On the descent, choose between walking and a slide if it is operating, continue to Fayun Temple, walk to Baizhangya Waterfall and take the sightseeing bus back to the East Gate.
Fayun Temple and Baizhangya lie along the downhill direction, so this route involves repeated climbs and descents. Confirm the operation, prices and safety requirements of the cable car, slide and sightseeing bus before committing to the route.

Arrival at the East Gate
Use “Yishan Scenic Area East Gate” as the navigation target; parking and ticketing are based there. A taxi from Qingzhou Station takes about 40–60 minutes. From Linqu Bus Station, direct buses to Yishan run at intervals of roughly 40 minutes, but the day’s timetable should be checked before setting out.
Internal transfers and combinations
The area is spread out, so the sightseeing bus is more practical than walking along the mountain roads between sections. Yishan, Jingtang Ancient Village and Qingzhou Ancient City work as a driving combination, not as one walking park.

Separate costs and transport points
The entrance ticket, sightseeing bus and cable car are charged separately. The bus is approximately CNY 30 round trip, while the cable car and slide cost extra. Plan around the transport points for Yuhuangding, Shenlong Grand Canyon and Dongzhen Temple rather than the straight-line distances on a map.
Hiking and activity safety
Mountain routes include long walks and climbs. Wear shoes with good grip and bring water. Follow staff instructions for the slide, cable car and other activities; whether a project runs is decided on the day.
Entry time
Reference hours are 08:30–17:00, with entry ending at 17:00. If you arrive in the afternoon, confirm East Gate ticketing, the last sightseeing-bus service and your return plan before choosing the deeper route.
