How to Visit

Reserve before going to the valley
Current access is managed. Use the Larung Valley entry mini-program or local ticket points such as Luoruo Town / Jinma Grassland collection areas when available.
Tip:Do not expect to self-drive or walk in freely.

Use the official sightseeing bus
Visitors are carried on a managed bus route and may receive a GPS badge or similar access control item that must be returned.
Tip:Keep cash or mobile payment ready for bus and deposit handling.

Stay within the fixed visitor area
The normal visitor route focuses on public areas such as large halls, mandala / prayer areas, and viewpoint zones. Monks' and nuns' residential areas are not for wandering.
Tip:Do not leave the visitor route or enter residential lanes without permission.

Use the time for quiet observation
Move calmly, keep cameras respectful, and avoid turning religious practice into a spectacle.
Tip:Do not photograph people at close range without consent.

Return on the assigned vehicle
The visit time is limited, so be back at the boarding area on time and return any issued badge or card.
Tip:The site is above 3,800 m, so do not add extra climbing.
