How to Visit

Treat it as a short roadside viewpoint
Zheduo Mountain is not a full scenic-park visit. Most travelers stop at the pass or snow-viewing platform while driving the G318 route between Kangding and Xinduqiao.
Tip:Plan 20-60 minutes, then continue the drive.

Move slowly at the 4,298 m pass
Get out, take photos, and walk only a short distance if your body feels normal. Headache, chest tightness, or dizziness means return to the car and descend.
Tip:Do not run up the steps for photos; the pass is high enough to trigger dizziness quickly.

Keep driving safety ahead of photos
The road has bends, trucks, sudden weather, and holiday congestion. Avoid stopping in unsafe roadside positions.
Tip:Cross earlier in the day so you have daylight for fog, snow, traffic, or an unexpected delay.
