How to Visit
1

Choose the valley before buying

Pick Shuangqiao Valley for the easiest first visit, Changping Valley for forest and hiking toward the peaks, and Haizi Valley for a more strenuous trekking day.

Tip:Buy for one valley at a time; the three valleys are not covered as one simple loop.
2

Book and enter inside the 2026 time window

Use the official booking channels and enter before the listed cutoff. Holiday tickets can sell out.

Tip:Do not arrive at noon and expect to cover a long valley well.
3

Use Shuangqiao Valley for a low-effort scenic day

Sightseeing buses carry visitors deep into the valley, then you stop at selected points while returning. This is the most practical choice for families and first-timers.

Tip:It still reaches high altitude, so walk slowly.
4

Treat Changping and Haizi as hiking decisions

Changping involves more walking or riding options. Haizi is less developed and should be chosen only by visitors comfortable with altitude and a long day.

Tip:Do not add Haizi Valley after another valley unless your group is ready for a separate hiking day.
5

Sleep nearby if doing more than one valley

Stay in Siguniangshan Town so you can start early and avoid a long drive before hiking.

Tip:Book warm accommodation in town because valley days can end cold even outside winter.
Highlights
  • Three-valley scenic system with different difficulty levels
  • Shuangqiao Valley offers the easiest snow-mountain and lake experience
  • Changping Valley gives closer hiking context for the four peaks
  • Haizi Valley serves stronger hikers and outdoor travelers
  • Strong multi-day anchor for an Aba-Western Sichuan route
Insider Tips

Do not try all three valleys in one day.

Book ahead for May Day, National Day, and peak autumn weekends.

Bring layers, snacks, water, and sun protection even on shuttle-heavy routes.

Pets and ignition sources are restricted in the scenic area.

If traveling with children or older adults, choose Shuangqiao Valley first.
