This is a remote, less-developed stop near Gongga routes. Confirm road access and local conditions before leaving the main valley.

Pay local fees and decide on walking or motorbike
At altitude, walking uphill can be harder than expected. Local motorbikes can reduce the climb, but agree on price and endpoint first.

Visit the lower and middle calcified terraces first
The first and second terrace areas are the practical core for most visitors. Continue higher only if the path is safe and your group feels well.
Tip:Do not continue to the upper terraces if the path is wet, icy, or unclear.

Stay on durable paths, do not step into pools, and descend before weather or darkness makes the route risky.
