The visitor route normally uses a bus from the entrance area toward the wetland boardwalk.
Tip:Budget extra time at the entrance because the route from parking to the bus area may pass shops and crowd-control lanes.

Walk only as much boardwalk as your group can enjoy
The boardwalk is long enough to feel exposed in sun, wind, or rain. Walk the core lake-and-wetland section rather than forcing the full length.

Use quiet timing for birding and photos
Morning and later afternoon are better for light and crowds. Birding is strongest around migration periods.
