Peach Blossom Pool is in Taohua Tan Town, Jing County, Xuancheng. The two banks are planned separately. The west-bank village usually has no admission charge and does not require a reservation. The regular east-bank ticket is about CNY 60–80, and some ticket types may include a return boat. Temporary free-entry or discount offers may appear on the east bank; whether they apply depends on the travel date.
The walking areas are generally accessible throughout the day. Paid services such as sightseeing boats usually run around 07:30–17:30. Boat services, east-bank activities and temporary access arrangements may vary by day.

West bank: poetry, village lanes and a waterside walk
The west bank's main stops are Yimen Gate, Wang Lun's Tomb and related ancestral halls, Huaixian Pavilion, the waterfront path and Wancun Old Street. Huaixian Pavilion gives you a higher view over Peach Blossom Pool and the buildings across the water. Wancun Old Street is a good place to walk slowly along stone lanes and see white walls and dark-tiled roofs.
This route suits visitors interested in the story of Li Bai and Wang Lun, Huizhou villages and photography. Most of the visit is on foot; the unpaved paths can be slippery after rain, and mosquitoes are common in summer.
East bank: Ta Ge An Pavilion and a boat experience
The east bank centres on Ta Ge An Pavilion and the paid scenic-area grounds. Some tickets may include a return boat, with the inclusions shown in the day's ticket information. If you only want the west-bank village, the east bank can be saved for another visit.
This side suits visitors who want a boat ride, time to explore the east-bank scenic area, and a fuller sense of how the two banks relate to each other. Boat departures and the return time affect how long you can stay, so check the boarding point, return arrangement and inclusions before buying.

Short west-bank route: Yimen Gate to Wancun Old Street
Enter through the west-bank village entrance. Visit Yimen Gate, continue to Wang Lun's Tomb and Huaixian Pavilion, then follow the waterfront path to Wancun Old Street. The route takes about 1–1.5 hours and works well as one stop on a Jing County driving day.
Entrances and parking areas may change with local management. After arriving, follow the scenic-area signs.
Full west-bank route: add the Rainbow Bridge and waterfront section
With more time, follow Rainbow Bridge → Yimen Gate → Wang Lun's Tomb and ancestral halls → Huaixian Pavilion → waterfront path → Wancun Old Street. Huaixian Pavilion involves stairs, while the waterfront section is useful for photography. Allow about 2–3 hours for the full route.
This route is mainly on foot. With older adults or children, shorten the waterfront section or add rest stops. Check the path after rain before continuing along the full waterfront route.
Two-bank visit: check the boat service before choosing the order
If you plan to visit the east bank, first check whether boats are running, which part of the crossing the ticket covers and when the return boat leaves. Then choose which bank to visit first. The two banks have separate entrances, ticketing and visiting times.
Get there
Drive to the west-bank or east-bank entrance
Driving makes it easiest to connect the two banks and nearby stops. Decide whether you are going to the west-bank village or the east-bank visitor area before navigating. On arrival, follow the traffic signs; parking spaces, charges and temporary controls may change.
The east-bank visitor centre and the west-bank village are separate entrances. If you need a boat or access to the paid east-bank area, go to the east-bank ticket and boarding area that is open on the day.
Plan the return trip if you are not driving
Jingxian Railway Station is the nearest high-speed rail connection listed for this visit, but onward transport to Peach Blossom Pool is limited. Taxis may involve waiting or fare negotiation. Arrange the journey to the scenic area, any move between the two banks and the return before travelling.
