How much time to allow

Yabuli Panda House is at 84 Jinpai Avenue in the resort area. ID verification is required for admission. Allow about one hour if you only want to see the giant pandas, or two to three hours if you also want to see the small animals along the route, wait for activities and take a break.

The venue is open from 08:00 to 16:00, and ticket sales and admission stop at 15:30. Some online tickets have a booking cutoff. Check the booking deadline for the product you choose, as rules vary by channel.

Ticket prices and highlights

Adult tickets are about CNY 50–58 per person. Children under 1.2 meters are usually admitted free, subject to the on-site policy. The main attraction is the giant pandas Sijia and Youyou; their outdoor activity and keeper feeding times can affect the order of your visit.

There are very few food options inside, so bring enough water and a light snack. If you also plan to visit Guokui Mountain or the hot spring, arrange transport and tickets separately.

Choose your visit

Sijia, Youyou and the indoor and outdoor areas

The giant pandas at the venue are Sijia and Youyou. You can watch them in their indoor enclosures and outdoor area. Before 11:00 is a useful time to look for activity outdoors; Youyou is sometimes active then. Panda activity varies from day to day, so you cannot count on seeing any particular behavior.

Keeper feeding around 14:00 is another viewing opportunity. You can often watch the pandas eat bamboo shoots and apples. Panda fans can plan around the activity times; families with children may see the pandas first and then decide whether to continue to the other animal areas.

Small animals and the viewing platform

The route also passes small-animal areas with alpacas and monkeys, and there is a gift shop by the exit. The visit suits people interested in pandas, families with children, or anyone looking for a short stop during a ski-area itinerary.

If you want to see the afternoon feeding, arrive at the curved viewing platform around 13:30. If the outdoor area is open in winter, you may also see the pandas in the snow. Do not use flash photography, and do not feed the animals or tap on the glass.

For a wider resort itinerary beyond the Panda House, see Yabuli Ski Tourism Resort.

Build your day

About one hour with the pandas

At the main entrance, present your booking confirmation and the ID document required for your ticket, then follow the on-site signs. Go first to see Sijia and Youyou, then follow the open route back to the exit. The short visit takes about one hour and can fit between skiing or other resort-area activities.

A complete two- to three-hour visit

After entering, see the alpacas, monkeys and other small animals along the route, then visit the indoor and outdoor panda areas. If you want to see the 14:00 feeding, wait at the viewing platform from around 13:30. Take a break with your own food and water, and stop by the gift shop near the exit if you like.

For a morning visit, you can prioritize the pandas' outdoor activity. For an afternoon visit, use the feeding time as a guide. The venue's schedule affects panda activity; admission ends at 15:30, and the venue closes at 16:00. Leave in time to return toward the main entrance.

Get there

High-speed train and shuttle bus

Take a high-speed train from Harbin Station or Harbin West Station to Yabuli West Station; the trip takes about 1.5 hours. Turn right after leaving the station to find the shuttle bus directly to the Panda House, with a fare of about CNY 5–6 per person. A taxi is another option, for about CNY 50 per ride.

Navigation and travel between attractions

Set your navigation destination to “Yabuli Panda House” at 84 Jinpai Avenue in the resort area. The main entrance is beside the panda-shaped building. Ride-hailing supply in the resort area is limited, and return trips from remote attractions can be especially unreliable. A taxi from the Panda House to Guokui Mountain Scenic Area is about CNY 30; arrange a vehicle before traveling between attractions.

Before you go, ask about parking, fees and the last shuttle. If you are traveling with children or need step-free access, you can also ask the venue about entrance access and pickup locations.

Know before you go

Tickets, ID and admission time

Adult tickets are about CNY 50–58; local channels may offer different prices. Check the admission voucher, booking cutoff and refund terms. Some online tickets have a booking deadline; follow the product page. Free admission for children under 1.2 meters is subject to the on-site policy.

Tickets are checked against each visitor's ID. Chinese residents should follow the booking platform's ID-card requirements. International visitors should carry a passport or other valid travel document and confirm when booking which document types the ticket accepts and how ID checks are carried out on site.

The venue is open from 08:00 to 16:00, and admission stops at 15:30. To see the 14:00 feeding, arrive at the viewing platform around 13:30; plan your departure around the 16:00 closing time.

Food, weather and observing the animals

There is almost no food service inside, so bring enough water and a light snack. Do not feed the pandas or other animals. Do not tap on the glass or use flash; panda activity and access to the outdoor area depend on the arrangements for that day.

Outdoor activity in winter depends on weather and the venue's schedule, so dress warmly. If you need information about accessible routes, rest areas, restrooms or the last bus, contact the venue before your visit.
