Put Bailong Elevator into your Yuanjiajie route

Bailong Elevator sits inside the Wulingyuan core scenic area and is mainly used to move visitors quickly from the valley floor up toward Yuanjiajie.

Tip:It should be planned together with the forest park ticket and a mountain-top route, not as a standalone attraction.

The common route is East Gate, shuttle bus, then elevator up

Enter from Wulingyuan Sign Gate, take the scenic-area shuttle bus to the lower Bailong Elevator station, then ride up and continue into Yuanjiajie.

Tip:This is a practical choice for first-time visitors who want to reach the core peak-forest area quickly.

Save your time for Yuanjiajie

The elevator ride itself is short. Its value is the fast climb and the brief cliffside view, but the main visit starts after you reach the upper station.

Tip:Spend your real sightseeing time on Yuanjiajie's route, including Mihun Terrace, Avatar Hallelujah Mountain, and First Bridge under Heaven.

Have a backup route in peak season

During busy periods, the queue for Bailong Elevator can take much longer than the ride.

Tip:If the line is too long, switch to Tianzi Mountain Cableway or Yangjiajie Cableway and adjust the order of Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain.

You do not have to return the same way

Bailong Elevator is useful for saving energy on the way up, but descending by Tianzi Mountain Cableway can create a smoother one-day loop.

Tip:Unless your group only wants to experience the elevator, it is usually better not to ride up and immediately return the same way.
