How to Visit

Treat Dragon Palace as a half-day cave boat trip
For practical planning, use the current entrance ticket, boat, and sightseeing bus package at CNY 150. With the uphill sightseeing elevator, plan for CNY 170.
Tip:From May 1, 2026, Dragon Palace uses real-name timed reservation, so buy at least one day ahead and choose an entry time.

Take the sightseeing bus into the core area first
After reaching the visitor center, transfer to the scenic-area sightseeing bus, then enter the Longmen Waterfall, Tianchi, and underground river boat area.
Tip:Dragon Palace is not a cave that you see only on foot; the boat ride is the core experience, and queue time can affect the total visit length.

Choose the uphill elevator based on energy
The uphill elevator saves a climbing section and is useful for older visitors, children, or travelers who do not want an uphill walk.
Tip:If your energy is normal, you can also walk up and save the money and time for the core boat section.

Do not let the later mountain route become a burden
The first and second sections of Dragon Palace are the core. If you do not want a long walk, return by the easier route after the boat ride instead of forcing every side route.
Tip:During rainy periods or water-level changes, some boat sections may be adjusted, so follow staff routing on site.

✦If you need to catch a train the same day, do not schedule Dragon Palace too late, because boat queues can extend the visit.
