Separate the bridge from the canyon first
Huajiang Canyon Bridge tourism area and the traditional Huajiang Grand Canyon are not the same experience, and they use different entrances and tickets.
Tip:Go to the bridge tourism area for the world-record high bridge; go to the traditional canyon area for the suspension bridge, canyon walk, and boat ride.

The bridge is for seeing a mega-engineering project
Huajiang Canyon Bridge stands about 625 meters above the water. Half-route sightseeing is about CNY 99, full-route sightseeing is about CNY 199, and shuttle transport is charged separately.
Tip:If you only want full-bridge photos, use the free outside viewpoints instead of paying to go onto the bridge.

The traditional canyon is for walking and boat scenery
The Huajiang suspension bridge, cliff inscriptions, Feishuiya Waterfall, old post road, and boat ride are the main points in the traditional canyon.
Tip:This side is more natural and walking-heavy than the bridge tourism area, and it also takes more energy.

Do not force both areas into a short visit
The bridge alone takes about 2 hours. If you add the traditional canyon walk and boat ride, leave at least half a day to a full day.
Tip:If you want both areas, do not add too many Huangguoshu or central Anshun sights on the same day.

Be cautious on canyon roads in rain
Routes to the suspension bridge, canyon paths, and some viewpoints use mountain roads, which can become slippery and more stressful after rain.
Tip:If the weather is poor or you are not confident driving mountain roads, choose the bridge tourism area and service-area viewpoints first.
