Pingba Cherry Blossom Garden is not a regular year-round attraction. It is worth a special trip mainly from early March to early April.
Tip:Outside bloom season, it is usually not worth a detour.

The garden is free during bloom season, but entry rules change by year
The database notes say cherry blossom season is free but requires online reservation. In recent years, rules may also adjust to no-reservation or timed-entry systems depending on crowd control.
Tip:Before going, follow that year's bloom-season notice, especially for reservation, traffic control, and shuttle rules.

Accept outer parking if driving
During cherry blossom season, private cars usually cannot drive directly into the core flower area. You need to park in designated lots, then walk or take a shuttle.
Tip:The database notes list the shuttle at about CNY 30, but parking areas and prices may change each year.

Arriving early matters more than finding the perfect photo spot
Before 07:00, crowds are much lighter. The main roads get crowded first, while side paths, lake areas, and tea fields are easier for cleaner photos.
Tip:During bloom season, late arrival means much of your time goes into parking, queues, and wayfinding.

Add the lakeside after seeing the blossoms
Hongfeng Lake, tea fields, and Lumao Tang Village can add cherry blossoms with lake water, rapeseed flowers, or tea fields in the same route.
Tip:The garden is large, so do not try to cover every spot. Choose 2-3 areas and keep the visit comfortable.
