A good route is to walk from the lighthouse to Moon Bay, the sea-eroded arch, the volcanic crater remains, and the coastal boardwalk, taking time to see the volcanic rock and sea-eroded landforms.

Go early in the morning or after about 4:00 pm for fewer people and better light. Midday is hot and more tiring.
