Wayaoping works best as an old street, riverside historic district, and add-on stop.
Tip:It is not Chenzhou's main destination for a full day on its own.

Fit it around nearby routes
From Chenzhou city, it takes about 40 minutes by private car or taxi, and it can also fit after Feitian Mountain's water route or nearby Danxia sightseeing.
Tip:Public transport can be a backup, but leave extra time for schedules and transfers.

Walk slowly through the district
Allow 2-3 hours to walk the stone-paved streets, old ferry pier, riverside path, and small shops.
Tip:This is a place to slow down, not a checklist-style attraction.
