How to Visit

Confirm your ticket type, entry time, and route before entering through the south gate
Go to the south gate at 190 Bijia Mountain Road, Zhangmutou Town. Adult admission is CNY 45, while advance online tickets are usually around CNY 39. Students and children between 1.2 and 1.5 metres pay CNY 22. The park generally opens 07:00-17:30, with last entry at 16:30; winter last entry may be earlier.
Tip:This is a large forest park with real uphill sections, so it does not work well as a late arrival. Choose your route and uphill transport before paying, rather than reaching only part of the park.

Take the sightseeing vehicle uphill if you have limited energy or are travelling with children or older relatives
From the south gate, take the sightseeing vehicle uphill for about CNY 30 one way, then visit Gratitude Square, the Ten Thousand Blessings Corridor, Moon God Platform, and Guanyin Square in order. Choose walking, the sightseeing vehicle, or a paid activity for the descent according to your energy.
Tip:Even after the vehicle ride, there is still a gradual 10-15-minute walk to the summit area. Do not assume the vehicle drops you directly at the base of the Guanyin statue.

Choose one clear route instead of trying to combine prayer, a full hike, and every paid activity
A gentler route focuses on Guanyin Square and the blessing-themed areas. Hikers can follow the Auspicious Road through waterfalls and valleys before reaching Guanyin Square. Decide on the glass walkway, flying-wire activity, and slide according to their opening status and your budget.
Tip:The full walking route is around 6.8 kilometres and requires real stamina. Treat paid activities as optional so you can finish the main forest and prayer route before the park closes.

Follow forest and religious-site safety rules
Wear non-slip sports shoes and slow down in wet weather. Do not bring your own incense into the park; take part in prayer at Guanyin Square according to on-site rules. Mobile signal can be weak near the summit, so download an offline map and agree on a meeting point with companions.
Tip:Hills, steps, and changing weather affect walking speed, and weak signal makes it harder to reconnect if people separate. Preparing before setting out is more reliable than depending on mobile navigation later.

Leave time for food and downhill transport instead of staying at the summit until closing
Carry water and simple snacks, then use the vegetarian restaurant or small shops only if needed. Start downhill in the afternoon and confirm your taxi, car, or bus connection near the entrance.
Tip:Food choices on the mountain are limited and more expensive, while downhill routes and transport choices reduce near closing time. Do not leave the final part of the day for when everyone is most tired.
