Treat this as an attached stop within the Ancestral Temple Museum
Huang Feihong Memorial Hall is inside the Foshan Ancestral Temple Museum grounds and has no separate ticket. Enter using the Ancestral Temple admission route rather than from the surrounding streets.
Tip:It shares the museum grounds with the Ancestral Temple, but it is not an independent attraction next door. Plan transport and visit time together with the temple.

Do not include the indoor galleries in the current route
The memorial hall has been temporarily closed since 26 May 2026 for air-conditioning system works, with no reopening date announced. Continue with other open parts of the Ancestral Temple Museum instead.
Tip:The closure means that the indoor displays on Huang Feihong's life, martial-arts equipment and recreated settings cannot currently be visited. If these are your main reason for coming, wait until the hall reopens.

Enter the Ancestral Temple around an outdoor lion-dance performance if that is your priority
The outdoor martial arts lion-dance ground currently keeps three daily performances: 10:00-10:40, 14:15-14:55 and 15:30-16:10. Arrive about 20-30 minutes early, then explore the open temple areas before or after the show.
Tip:The outdoor performance and indoor memorial-hall access are separate matters. A performance taking place does not mean the indoor hall is open.

Use the open areas to continue the cultural route
After the performance, continue to Yip Man Hall, Wanfu Stage, Lingying Shrine and Confucius Garden, or walk on to Lingnan Tiandi. If coming mainly for the performance, allow about 1-1.5 hours.
Tip:With the indoor hall closed, this is not currently a standalone two-hour indoor museum visit. Pairing it with the Ancestral Temple route avoids an empty gap in the itinerary.
