How to Visit

Enter from the north gate well before final entry
Walk about eight minutes from Daliang Zhonglou Station. Adult admission is CNY 15.
Tip:Holiday visitor controls and late arrival can prevent a complete visit.

Follow one continuous garden route
See Qiming Residence, the Octagonal Pond, Bixi Cottage, Boat Hall, Chengyi Pavilion, Fenglai Peak and Zhuangyuan Hall before leaving south.
Tip:This connects residences, water, rockeries and windows without repeated backtracking.

Slow down at the Boat Hall, Chengyi Pavilion and Bixi Cottage
Use these stops for waterside architecture, reflections, Manchurian windows and woodcarving.
Tip:The garden is compact but rich in detail, so a few unhurried stops are more useful than rushing around.

Continue from the south gate to Huagai Road
Huagai Road Pedestrian Street is about a five-minute walk from the south gate.
Tip:Complete the garden first because it has fixed entry and closing times.
