How to Visit
1

Enter via the East Gate

Take Metro Line 4 or 7 to University Town South Station (大学城南站), Exit B. Walk 10-15 minutes following signs to the East Gate. Start your visit by checking the day's performance schedule on the official 岭南印象园 WeChat account.

Arrive at 15:00-16:00 to cover both day and night attractions in one visit
2

Walk the Cultural Classic Route

Follow the Cultural Classic Route: Dragon Boat Pool (龙舟池) → Lotus Stream (练溪湖) → Flower Lantern Art Hall (花灯艺术馆) → Water Lion Dance Stage (水上醒狮表演区) → Guangfu Wedding Customs Hall (广府婚俗馆) → Yue Opera Hall (粤剧馆) → Lion Dance Museum (醒狮馆). This covers the architectural and cultural highlights in order.

Water lion dance performances are the park's signature — check times first
3

See the Iron Flower Fire Dance (Night)

The 打铁花 (iron flower fire dance) is the park's most spectacular show. Molten iron at 1600°C is flung into the air, bursting into golden rain — absolutely breathtaking. This is a night-only show typically scheduled at 20:00 or later.

Arrive at the performance area 15 minutes early for a good viewing spot
4

Photograph the Wok Ear Houses and Fish Lanterns

The 镬耳屋 (wok ear house) cluster is the most complete Lingnan architectural complex in Guangzhou — high curved walls make a perfect traditional Chinese backdrop. At dusk, the 鱼灯长廊 (fish lantern corridor) lights up in rainbow colors, creating a magical atmosphere reminiscent of 'Big Fish and Begonia'.

The Manchu window maze is most photogenic in late afternoon sun when light filters through
5

Enjoy Non-Power Children's Playground (if traveling with kids)

The park has two free non-powered children's play areas with sand pits, slides, and climbing structures — ideal for families. The 岭南剧场 (Lingnan Theatre) has regular cultural shows including Cantonese opera and puppet performances.

Download the official WeChat account's show schedule before visiting — times change daily
