An open riverside park
Harbin Music Park is at the junction of Youyi West Road and Shangjiang Street in Daoli District. It is an open park without walls or a unified ticket gate. The Music Corridor, riverside paths, waterside platform and music-themed sculptures are the main spaces. Admission is free, no reservation is required and the park is accessible all day.
Keep the Music Corridor separate from the winter snowman
The European-style twin towers of the Music Corridor are the year-round landmark. The nearly 20-metre snowman is a winter installation, usually appearing from December through February; whether it is built, where it stands and how it is managed follow the seasonal arrangement.
There are few small shops around the park, so bring drinking water and a small snack. Free parking is near the Music Corridor but spaces are tight on holidays; metro and walking are easier if you do not want to search for a space.

The Music Corridor's twin towers
The Music Corridor is the easiest building to recognize. Shoot upwards beneath the twin towers, using arches, colonnades and lines for portraits. From the road opposite, you may frame the corridor with the winter snowman; the relationship changes with the installation's location each year.
Daylight reveals the European-style details, while night adds lighting and the riverfront setting. There is no formal park gate; enter near the corridor and follow the paths. Keep steps, routes and local pedestrian traffic clear while photographing.
Riverside paths, fountain and music sculptures
The full walk can follow the riverside path east or west, passing the music-fountain plaza, music sculptures and waterside platform. The platform is good for Songhua River views, silhouette portraits and sunset; whether the fountain is running may vary by day.
The park's value is the open riverbank and continuous walking space, suited to visitors who want a quiet outdoor section. Visitors sensitive to wind, background music or local activities can choose a more comfortable stopping point between the corridor and the river.
The winter snowman and year-round walks
The snowman usually appears from December through February and is a seasonal photo point, not a summer or autumn feature. After snow, the corridor, snowman area and riverside paths may be icy; look at the ground and open boundary before taking photographs.
Summer greenery and the river are good for an evening walk; arrive after about 18:30 to wait for sunset. Winter sunset is earlier, so move the start time forward. The park has no continuous amusement programme; choose the Qunli commercial area or Guandong Ancient Lane separately for food or indoor shopping.

Build your day
30–45-minute Music Corridor route
Enter near the Music Corridor, view the twin towers and building details, then photograph the full corridor from the opposite side. When the winter snowman is present, put it and the corridor in the same photo section. After the main shots, leave via the nearest path.
This suits visitors making a short stop in Qunli. In summer, continue to the waterside platform after the corridor; in winter, first check snowy surfaces, crowds around the snowman and equipment protection from the cold.
1.5–2-hour riverside walk
From the Music Corridor, follow the riverside path east or west past the music-fountain plaza and music sculptures, and finish at the waterside platform for the river and sunset. Choose the direction according to the day's wind, crowds and open paths.
After about 18:30 in summer, wait for sunset; in winter, sunset is earlier and the departure should be earlier. The park is free and accessible all day, but the fountain, temporary installations and nearby shops have separate operating status. Leave towards the metro or parking area.
Connect with a Qunli-area day
If Music Park is the only stop, 1.5–2 hours covers the corridor, riverside path and waterside platform. Add other places only after arranging their addresses and transport separately; do not repeatedly cross the area within the same time block.
Get there
Metro and walking
Take Metro Line 3 to Sports Park Station and use Exit 3, then walk about 800 metres to Music Park and the Music Corridor. There is no unified main gate; navigate to the Music Corridor or the junction of Youyi West Road and Shangjiang Street.
Bus and parking
Bus routes 46, 105 and 133 stop at Qunli Bund Bus Station. Drivers can use the free parking near the Music Corridor, though spaces are tight on holidays. Walk along the river after parking and return by the parking-area direction when collecting the car.
Connect with the river and Qunli commercial area
The park is beside the Qunli section of the Songhua River, and its paths work for a short walk. This is not the same riverfront line as the Flood Control Monument and Central Street. For Guandong Ancient Lane or Qunli Wetland, navigate separately and confirm roads, food and opening status.

Seasonal installations and weather
The nearly 20-metre snowman usually appears from December through February; whether it is built, its exact position and nearby management follow the season. Riverside wind is strong in winter, so wear windproof clothing, a hat and gloves. Slow down on icy paths and stay within the open route.
The fountain, temporary sculptures and riverside activities may change because of weather or maintenance. All-day access only describes the park space. Check the path, waterside platform and river boundary before photographing, and stay away from dangerous water.
Supplies, sunset and ambient sound
There are few small shops around the park and corridor, so prepare water and an energy snack. In summer, around 18:30 or later is a good time to wait for sunset; winter sunsets are earlier. Include the return and perceived temperature when staying at the waterside platform.
Background music, community singing, instruments or plaza activities may occur. For quieter photographs, choose a less busy path and do not occupy the twin towers, stairs or centre of the waterside platform for a long time.
