The vehicle zone and walking zone are different experiences
Siberian Tiger Park is at 88 Songbei Street in Songbei District, with a visitor service centre and ticket office at the south main gate. Visits usually start with a vehicle through the drive-through zone, followed by the boardwalk in the walking zone for tigers, ligers and other animals. Follow the park's separation and vehicle rules in both sections.
An adult ticket with the feeding vehicle is currently around CNY 130; an adult ticket with the standard sightseeing vehicle is around CNY 110. Half-price tickets for students, adults aged 60–65 and children 1.2–1.4 metres tall are around CNY 65–85. Buying online in advance is advisable, but ticket types and vehicle arrangements may vary by day.
Seasonal hours and how long to stay
Summer hours are currently listed as 08:00–16:30, with entry stopping at 16:30; winter hours are listed as 08:30–16:00. A quick route takes about 1.5–2 hours and a full route about 2–3 hours. If you want the walking zone and educational content, a half-day is more comfortable.
The park suits visitors who want to observe Siberian tigers, families and wildlife photographers. Feeding vehicles, live-chicken activities and close animal interactions can be uncomfortable for some visitors. Choose the viewing mode according to safe distance, animal condition and your own comfort, rather than treating dramatic scenes as the goal.

The drive-through range: watch from inside the vehicle
The drive-through zone is the park's main viewing section, where visitors pass through a larger animal area in a dedicated vehicle. The feeding vehicle allows visitors to watch staff feed the animals from inside a protected vehicle; the standard sightseeing vehicle suits visitors who prefer observation with less interaction. Follow the driver and staff in either vehicle.
Feeding can create intense scenes of animals gathering and chasing the vehicle, and it can raise animal-welfare concerns. If you do not want to watch feeding, choose the standard vehicle or only visit the walking zone. Do not bring your own food or tap the windows; keep your body inside the vehicle.
Walking Tiger Gallery and educational content
After leaving the vehicle, enter the walking zone and follow the boardwalk to observe tigers and ligers. This section is better for watching animals' condition, activity range and interpretation panels at a slower pace. Keep your camera behind the safety line and do not cross barriers for a closer angle.
The education hall adds information about Siberian tiger protection and breeding. The small-animal area may show young tigers, lions and other animals, but the open areas, animal ages and interaction rules change. Do not tap a cage or try to wake an animal that is resting.
Live-chicken activity and family choices
The walking zone may offer a paid live-chicken feeding activity. The scene can be graphic, so families with children should decide carefully. A family route can include only the drive-through zone, Walking Tiger Gallery and education hall; children can still observe animals without live feeding.

Build your day
1.5–2-hour quick route
Buy a ticket at the main gate, take the standard sightseeing vehicle through the drive-through zone, then enter the walking-zone boardwalk and leave after the small-animal area. This suits visitors who want the main animals, do not want feeding and plan to continue to Sun Island.
Before entering, confirm the standard vehicle's departure arrangement and which parts of the walking zone are open. After the drive-through section, follow the one-way route and do not stop in narrow boardwalk positions for photographs. From the small-animal area, follow the signs directly back to the exit.
2–3-hour full route
If you choose the feeding vehicle, arrive before 10:00 and queue for it first. In the busy season, the wait can reach 1.5–2 hours. After the vehicle tour, walk through the Tiger Gallery, then visit the small-animal area and education hall, adjusting the dwell time to the animals' condition.
Live-chicken feeding is not a required part of the full route. Families or anyone uncomfortable with graphic scenes can skip it and spend the time in the walking zone and education hall. Before leaving, confirm the return vehicle and parking area to avoid a long wait outside.
Build the feeding-vehicle queue into the day
If you want the feeding vehicle, treat its queue as the main time cost and arrive early rather than joining a long afternoon line. If the wait is too long, switch to the standard vehicle and complete the drive-through and walking zones without letting one activity consume the whole visit.
Get there
Metro plus taxi
Take Metro Line 2 to Shimao Boulevard Station and use Exit 3, then take a taxi for about 10 minutes. This is a common combination when there is no direct metro stop. Set the destination as the south main gate of Siberian Tiger Park or the visitor service centre, rather than being dropped outside the park.
Bus and driving
Bus routes 35 and 122 stop at Hulin Park Station. Driving visitors can use the free car park outside the park; parking is generally plentiful. On holidays, still plan for the queue at the main gate, security and ticketing—the car's arrival time is not the admission time.
Return arrangements
Taxi waits may be longer for the return in the busy season. Call a car before leaving or confirm the meeting point and phone signal with your companions. If you are also visiting Sun Island that day, confirm the parking point for each attraction separately.
Know before you go
Animal welfare and safety boundaries
Do not tap vehicle windows or cages, feed animals with your own food or cross the boardwalk barriers. Keep your hands, camera and body inside the vehicle. Follow instructions for vehicle stops, getting out and the walking zone; children should stay with an adult throughout.
Live-chicken feeding can be upsetting, and seeking graphic scenes adds pressure to the animal display. You can choose the standard vehicle, walking zone and education hall instead. If an animal is resting or away from the viewing window, continue along the route.
Time, weather and equipment
The difference between summer hours of 08:00–16:30 and winter hours of 08:30–16:00 affects the return. Winter visitors should pay particular attention to cold and wind. The drive-through area, boardwalk and queue areas feel different, so wear windproof shoes and clothing and keep camera equipment close to your body in winter.
The feeding vehicle may have a 1.5–2-hour queue in the busy season. If you want to enter before 10:00, arrange the metro-and-taxi connection early. Confirm prices, half-price eligibility, feeding activities, animal-display status and return transport on the day.
