Plan at a glance
The park and separately ticketed attractions
Shuiyuanshan Park is at 117 Shengli East Road. Entry to the park is free, while the zoo, rides, and water park inside it each charge separately. The park usually opens at 08:30, closing at about 20:30 from June to August and 19:30 in other months. Individual attractions keep different hours, so check the day's arrangements.
Visit time and slopes
Allow about 1.5 hours for a short visit to the lookout pavilion and zoo. Seeing the zoo, rides, and shaded paths takes about 3–4 hours. The park is large and has slopes. A stroller may help with young children, but check whether the paths are suitable. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, ask whether the park shuttle is running.

Choose your visit
The zoo
The zoo has a separate admission fee; an adult ticket has previously been listed at CNY 20–38. Boat rides, amusement rides, and some animal interactions have been listed at about CNY 15–49, but prices and operations can change by season. The bird garden, monkey hill, sika deer, and black bear areas are family-friendly stops. Animal species and exhibits may change. Do not feed animals or hit the barriers.
The lookout pavilion and city views
The lookout pavilion is on higher ground and offers views over Jiamusi, including the Ferris wheel known as “Eye of the East.” On a clear day, it is a good place to photograph the skyline. Check whether the pavilion is open before climbing up.
Rides and the summer water park
The park also has separately charged attractions such as a Ferris wheel, rainbow slide, and carousel. The water park is inside the grounds and operates seasonally, with a separate fee. Ask about individual ride prices and what any pass includes before buying.
For a flatter riverside city walk, see Jiamusi Riverside Walk.
For a reservoir, boardwalk and hillside route, see Sifeng Reservoir.
Build your day
A 1.5-hour short visit
Enter through the main gate and go first to the lookout pavilion for city views, then visit selected parts of the zoo, such as the bird garden and monkey hill. Return to the entrance along the main path. If you are bringing children, consider the slopes before deciding whether to use a stroller.
A three-to-four-hour family visit
Visit the zoo in the morning, then take a break or have a simple meal in the park. In the afternoon, choose rides such as the carousel or rainbow slide that are operating that day, then walk along the shaded paths. Each activity has a separate ticket. Check the day's notices for animal interactions or performances.
Add water-park time in summer
When the water park is open, visit the park and zoo first, then buy a separate ticket for the water area. Confirm the cost of individual attractions and what a pass covers before entering. If the weather is cool or the water park is closed, you can still follow the walking route through the park.
Get there
Bus and taxi
The address is 向阳区胜利东路 117 号 (No. 117 Shengli East Road, Xiangyang District, Jiamusi). Buses 3, 4, and 16 serve 水源山公园 (Shuiyuanshan Park); check the nearest stop and return schedule before setting out. A taxi from the city center or railway station takes about 10–15 minutes and costs approximately CNY 10–15. Ride-hailing cars can be limited; consider a street-hailed taxi or the bus for your return.
Entrance and parking
Navigate to “水源山公园 (Shuiyuanshan Park)” and follow signs to the main entrance. The number of parking spaces and fees are unclear. The zoo and water park have their own entrances or ticket windows; park as directed and walk to each area.
Know before you go
Animals and child safety
Do not feed animals or reach over barriers. If the park organizes an animal interaction, follow staff instructions. Rides and water facilities have height, weather, and health restrictions; supervise children throughout. The water park is outdoors, so check the weather and water temperature before getting in.
Breaks, weather, and nearby food
The park has slopes, so wear comfortable shoes. A stroller may be useful with children. There is no concentrated restaurant area nearby. Back in the city, Youfang Hutong (油坊胡同) has snacks such as grilled chicken rack (鸡架) and grilled cold noodles, while Chunhua Ethnic Cuisine (春花民族美食) serves beef soup with rice, rice sausage, and side dishes. Confirm that restaurants are open before going.
