Tickets, reservation and timing
Fenglin Gorge is in Shuangmiao Village, Xicun Township, Xiuwu County, Jiaozuo, Henan. It uses the Fenglin Gorge Visitor Centre, which is also the arrival centre for Qinglong Gorge. Allow about 3.5–4 hours for the easier route, or 5–6 hours for a route that includes walking downhill.
There is no single standard entrance ticket. The cableway, sightseeing bus, boat, glass bridge and Sweetheart House are sold separately or in packages, with reference package prices of about CNY 80–230. Opening hours are about 07:00–17:00, with entry stopping at 16:00. After buying online, call the scenic area one day in advance at 0391-7803018 to confirm the reservation, then enter with the verification code in the reservation message. Confirm the phone and verification process again before travelling.
How to plan the visit
The main choice at Fenglin Gorge is between a high-gorge lake cruise and mountain walking. Visitors who want to reduce uphill walking can use the cableway and boat in the first part of the route, then decide whether to add the glass bridge and Sweetheart House. Visitors with a fear of heights or no interest in elevated facilities can leave out the bridge.

Emerald Lake boat trip
The Emerald Lake boat trip is Fenglin Gorge's main water experience. The route passes through the gorges and works well when you want to focus on the lake and the mountain views on both sides. The water may look clearer on a sunny day, but boat operations depend on weather, queues and the day's on-site arrangements.
Glass bridge and Sweetheart House
The Sky Love Glass Bridge is a suspended viewpoint overlooking Emerald Lake, and visitors who are afraid of heights can skip it. Sweetheart House works as a short stop later in the route. Both are operating attractions, so confirm whether they are open and included in your ticket type on the day.

3.5–4 hours: easier route
Take the scenic-area bus, then use the cableway downhill. At Emerald Lake, take the boat, then use the cableway uphill. Continue by scenic-area bus to the Sky Love Glass Bridge and Sweetheart House, and finally take the bus back. This route leaves most of the mountain movement to the cableway and boat, making it suitable for older visitors, families and anyone who wants to avoid a long uphill walk.
5–6 hours: walking route
Take the scenic-area bus to the Sky Love Glass Bridge. After visiting the bridge, walk downhill for about 1 hour to Emerald Lake, take the boat, then use the cableway uphill and the scenic-area bus back. Confirm that the bridge, boat and cableway are operating before setting out, because a closure of any one of them can change the route order.
Get there
Shuangmiao Village visitor centre
If driving, set the destination to “Fenglin Gorge Visitor Centre.” Parking is about CNY 10 per day, and the drive from Zhengzhou takes about 1.5–2 hours. The tourist shuttle from the South Square of Jiaozuo Railway Station mainly runs on weekends and public holidays; the reference schedule is about 08:10 outward and 16:00 return, with a mountain-road journey of about 30 minutes each way. Confirm the departures and return time before travelling.
Fenglin Gorge and Qinglong Gorge share the Shuangmiao Village centre, but Fenglin Gorge has its own boats, cableway, glass bridge, reservation verification code and ticket packages. The two scenic areas can be visited on the same day or on adjacent days, but their entry procedures must be completed separately.
Know before you go
Queues, weather and elevated facilities
Boats and cableways may have queues on weekends and public holidays. Mountain paths and the glass bridge can also be affected by mist, rain and strong winds. Visitors with a fear of heights can skip the glass bridge and still make the boat and gorge walk the main part of the visit.
Keep the reservation message or verification code after buying online, and confirm in advance that the phone reservation has been completed. Package prices depend on the equipment and attractions included, so check the admission ticket, sightseeing bus, cableway, boat, glass bridge and Sweetheart House separately.
