Seven Stars Terrace is in Sijiacheng Village, Duozhuang Town, Zhangqiu District. The main entrance is at the Wusheng Gate archway. Admission is listed at CNY 30; some packages are around CNY 75 and may include the cable car and sightseeing car. Hours are 08:00–17:00 Monday–Friday and 08:00–17:30 Saturday–Sunday.
Who it suits
Allow about 1 hour for the main viewpoint or 3–4 hours for the forest and Qi Great Wall ruins, a route of about 10 kilometres. Stargazing requires a night drive and a complete return plan. The mountain suits drivers, photographers, hikers, and stargazers; temperature changes, insects, and night noise need to be considered.

Stars, sunrise, and sea of clouds
On a clear night, the summit and areas around the Qi Great Wall ruins can show the stars. The viewpoint is also suitable for sunrise, sea of clouds, and mountain panoramas. Clouds, light pollution, camping lights, and motorcycle noise affect stargazing, so the main car park is not the only possible photo location.
Wusheng Gate and forest trails
Wusheng Gate is good for a backlit evening view, and the S317 mountain road is part of the approach scenery. Hikers can follow a forest route through the Qi Great Wall ruins, Sijieshou, and Queqiao; choose the distance and climbing according to the day’s energy.
Build your day
1-hour viewpoint route
Enter through Wusheng Gate, follow the main road to the central viewpoint for the mountain panorama, and return to the entrance. This suits a short daytime stop; confirm whether the cable car and sightseeing car are included in the day’s ticket.
3–4-hour hiking route
Enter through Wusheng Gate and follow the forest trail through the Qi Great Wall ruins, Sijieshou, and Queqiao before returning according to the signs. The route is about 10 kilometres and suits hikers in good condition; shorten it after rain or when the weather becomes unstable.
Night stargazing route
Drive up in the late afternoon, confirm parking and trail access near the main entrance or viewpoint, then move toward an area with fewer lights for star photos. Bring warm clothing, a torch, insect repellent, and a vehicle for the return; choose a familiar trail with safe lighting for any night walking.
Get there
Arrival and local transport
Driving up the S317 mountain road is the most convenient option. Buses K53, K55, and K106 reach Seven Stars Terrace Station, but the remaining transfer is long, so public transport is not suitable for night stargazing.
Navigate to Seven Stars Terrace Scenic Area or Wusheng Gate and follow the day’s signs to the viewpoint and Qi Great Wall ruins. On the way down, you can stop at Duozhuang Reservoir or a nearby farmhouse restaurant.
Know before you go
Practical considerations
Mountain weather changes quickly, with larger temperature swings, more insects, and stronger wind than in the city. Bring a jacket, torch, insect repellent, and water. The camping area near the car park may be noisy, so light sleepers can stay at the foot of the mountain.
Stars, sunrise, and sea of clouds all depend on weather, and light pollution near the viewpoint affects photos. Cable-car packages, sightseeing cars, and camping arrangements follow the information on the day; do not treat the CNY 75 figure as a compulsory pass for every visitor.
