Plan at a glance

Independent venue and entry period

Hengdian Dream Bund Resort is in Hengdian Town, Dongyang, Jinhua, Zhejiang. Its entrance is marked by the Dream Bund archway and a circular canopy, and it is separate from Hengdian’s other theme parks. Reference opening hours are 13:00–21:00; the night scenery usually becomes brighter after dark. Follow the day’s on-site schedule and programme.

Dream Bund usually requires a separate ticket and may not be included in a standard Hengdian pass. Ticket coverage can differ for adults, children and individual activities. Before buying, confirm whether the ticket includes the indoor children’s area, rides, performances or ship access.

How much time to allow

Allow 4–5 hours if you want daytime views, indoor activities and night views. A shorter visit works if you mainly want the streets and the lights along the Bund. The resort suits families with children and visitors interested in Republican-era streets, retro photography and light recreational activities.

Choose your visit

Nanjing Road, the Bund and Jinhua Ship

Nanjing Road, the Bund waterfront and Jinhua Ship form the main spatial sequence. See the street buildings and indoor activities during the day, then return to the Bund after dark for the lights. Whether Jinhua Ship can be boarded and which decks are open depends on the day’s notice.

The resort may schedule an international circus, children’s theatre, dome-film screening and tram experience. Specific times, queueing and the accessible scope of each activity can change daily. Check the day’s programme first, then decide whether to put a particular activity into your route.

Who it suits

Families can prioritise the indoor children’s park, low-intensity facilities and waterfront streets. Visitors interested in photography can spend time around Nanjing Road, the Bund and Jinhua Ship. Anyone interested in a large performance should accept that queues and seating arrangements may be uncertain.

Dream Bund is close to Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street Scenic Area and Dream Valley, but they are separate venues. If you visit several places in one day, confirm Dream Bund’s opening time and programme first, then calculate the other parks’ ticket checks and return journey.

Build your day

A 4–5 hour day-and-night route

After entering in the afternoon, start with the tram or indoor activities, then continue to the children’s area, streets and Bund waterfront. After dark, return to the area around Nanjing Road and Jinhua Ship for photographs. Decide whether to add the circus or children’s theatre according to the day’s times and your group’s condition.

Popular activities may queue at the same time. Choose one activity you most want to experience and use the remaining time for streets, views and rest. After a performance, confirm the exit and pick-up point before continuing with night photography so that you do not leave the departure arrangements until the end.

A half-day family route

Start with Mengxiang Studio or another indoor children’s area, then choose a children’s theatre show, sand play or water activity according to what is open that day. Skip activities unsuitable for young children and leave time for changing, drinking water and rest.

If a child is already tired after the indoor activities, walk only Nanjing Road and the Bund instead of continuing to queue for every activity. Check personal belongings and children’s items before leaving, and agree on a meeting point when crowds increase at night.

Connecting with other Hengdian parks

Dream Bund can be combined with Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street Scenic Area or Dream Valley, but each has separate tickets, entrances and activity times. Before transferring, confirm that the next venue is open and that your ticket applies, then choose walking, a ride-hailing car or a return to the parking area based on the actual arrangement.

If Dream Bund is scheduled for the evening, complete the other parks during the day. Do not keep moving between parks at night simply to fill a pass, especially when travelling with children or catching a high-speed train.

Get there

High-speed rail, Hengdian Station and local transport

From Yiwu Station, Dream Bund is about one hour by taxi. From Hengdian Station, it is about 20 minutes by taxi. You can also take light rail from Jinhua Station or Jinhua South Station to Ming and Qing Palace Station, then transfer to a bus or taxi.

Navigate directly to the Dream Bund entrance or parking area. If you are transferring from Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street Scenic Area or Dream Valley, confirm the drop-off point and the night pick-up point separately; nearby venues do not share the same entrance.

Driving and parking

Drivers can navigate to the Dream Bund parking area and walk to the archway and circular canopy. Vehicles may gather after the lights and performances, so note the parking position and exit direction in advance.

If you plan to leave after a performance, confirm at entry whether a ride-hailing car can reach the designated area. Choose driving or a ride-hailing car as your main return method and avoid switching at the end of the programme.

Know before you go

Activities, performances and ship access

The circus, children’s theatre, lighting, outdoor rides and tram may change with weather and operations. The boarding area, opening time and visiting route for Jinhua Ship must follow the day’s on-site information; do not present boarding as automatically included.

Some activities have height or age requirements. With children, read the signs at the entrance before queueing. If an activity is temporarily unavailable or the queue is too long, switch to the streets, indoor areas or a walk along the Bund.

Night views, weather and supplies

Outdoor streets are less comfortable in rain or strong wind, and visitors should watch their footing on waterfront paths and bridges at night. Lighting times, the illuminated area and temporary activities cannot be fixed in advance, so leave weather flexibility in the photography plan.

Food choices inside the resort are limited. Carry water and a small snack, and bring spare clothes for children. If a child uses a water or children’s facility and needs to clean up, include the time needed to return to the hotel or accommodation.
