Drive the G245 canyon section and stop only at signed viewpoints. The water-road section is not a place for random roadside parking.

Use the Iron Road Soldier Museum and Guancunba station area to understand the Chengdu-Kunming railway story behind the canyon.

Treat Gu Lu Village as a real hike
The cliff-route hike has steep gain and rough sections. Wear proper shoes, carry water, and avoid it in poor weather.

Clear weather makes the river and cliffs worthwhile. After heavy rain, water can look muddy and the route loses much of its value.
