How to Visit

Do not confuse boat ticket with scenic ticket
The cruise gives the best full frontal view of the Buddha, but it does not let you enter the mountain scenic area or walk to the Buddha's feet.
Tip:Many first-time visitors mix up the two products.

Check which pier is operating
Jiazhoudu and Wuyousi pier use can change with water level and season. Use the current ticket page or scenic-area hotline before taking a taxi.
Tip:Going to the wrong pier wastes time in hot weather.

Go up to the open deck
The boat pauses in front of the Buddha for photos. The upper deck gives the cleanest angle if access is allowed.
Tip:Wear the life jacket as instructed before moving around.

Plan the exit walk
Boarding and exit flow can require extra walking or a short shuttle, especially when piers change. Keep water and sun protection ready.
Tip:This matters most in summer.
