How to Visit

Treat it as a transfer point
Leidongping is where most visitors leave the bus before walking to Jieyin Hall and the Golden Summit cableway.
Tip:It is not the final Golden Summit viewpoint.

Allow time for the 1.5 km walk
The walk from Leidongping to Jieyin Hall takes about 30-40 minutes and can be cold, icy, crowded, or monkey-heavy depending on season.
Tip:Do not schedule the cableway too tightly after bus arrival.

Use it for sunrise logistics
If Golden Summit hotels are too expensive or unavailable, staying at Leidongping can still make an early summit attempt more realistic.
Tip:Book early in high season or snow season.

Keep the return bus in mind
After coming down from Golden Summit, you still need to return to Leidongping and catch the sightseeing bus down the mountain.
Tip:The last bus is the timing you cannot miss.
