Walk the covered Liangting Street first to understand why Luocheng is called a boat-shaped town.
Tip:This is the main reason to visit.

Use Nanhua Palace or another raised viewpoint to see the long street layout instead of only walking at ground level.
Tip:The overhead view makes the town easier to read.

Sit in a tea house
The town is more about local slow life than checklist sightseeing. Order tea and watch card games, conversations, and daily routines.
Tip:This is where the town feels different from a staged ancient street.

Pair it with Qianwei-area plans
Luocheng pairs naturally with Jiayang Narrow Gauge Train if you have a full day in the Qianwei direction.
Tip:Do not add it to a tight Giant Buddha day.
