Plan at a glance
A separate park and entrance
Arctic Christmas Village is beside G331, east of the main area of Arctic Village and about four kilometers from Qixing Square. It has its own entrance and ticket office, so it is an additional stop on an Arctic Village itinerary and is not included in the Arctic Village gate ticket.
Tickets and opening arrangements
Tickets are usually available at the entrance. Check whether reservations are required, along with the current seasonal price and opening hours, in the park's notices for the day. For a winter visit, also confirm that the access road and ticket window are open.
How long to allow
Allow 30 to 60 minutes for the main buildings, post office and landmarks. If you also visit the children's area or join a reindeer activity that is open that day, allow one to two hours. The park is compact; add travel time to and from the main area of Arctic Village.

Choose your visit
Santa's House and the plaza
Santa's House is the park's main building. Nearby are Santa's Plaza and a giant Christmas stocking about 5.3 meters tall. Whether Santa is present and available for interactions or autographs depends on the day's operations, so check what is available before setting aside time.
Christmas Post Office and themed displays
The park has a Christmas Post Office where you can ask about postcards and themed postmarks. Whether mail can be sent or stamped that day depends on the post office's arrangements. This is the post office inside the Christmas Village; China's Northernmost Post Office is in the main area of Arctic Village and requires a separate visit.
Children's area and seasonal scenery
The Children's Fairy-Tale World and reindeer area are options for families, depending on their interests. Opening times and activities should be confirmed on site. Winter may bring ice-and-snow displays and evening lights; in other seasons, see what is open in the park that day.
Build your day
A shorter route
After entering, visit Santa's House and the plaza, then check whether the Christmas Post Office is open. Continue to outdoor landmarks such as the large Santa stocking. Decide at the end whether to join any activity available that day. This route takes about 30 to 60 minutes.
A fuller visit
From the shorter route, continue on foot through the children's area. Visit the reindeer area only when it is open and follow the park's arrangements. Allow about one to two hours in total. If the post office is closed, you can go straight to the outdoor landmarks; the rest of the visit does not depend on postal services.
Leaving the park and finding a meal
The park's stops are close together and are connected mainly by walking. The exit leads back to the separate entrance and parking area. Dining options are limited, and temporary stalls may not be open; for a full meal, return to the main area of Arctic Village or downtown Mohe.
Get there
From the main area of Arctic Village
The ride from around Qixing Square to the Christmas Village is about four kilometers and takes roughly 10 minutes by taxi or chartered car. Agree on the fare with the driver or your guesthouse in advance. You can visit it on the same day as Arctic Village, but include the round trip and the park's opening hours in your plan.
Parking and walking inside the park
Drivers can park near the entrance and continue on foot. No shuttle is needed inside the park; the buildings and activity areas are linked by walking paths.
Know before you go
Check seasonal operations
Ticket prices, ticket-window hours, Santa's appearances, post office services, reindeer activities and evening lights may change by season. For a winter visit, check the day's opening and road conditions before setting out, and allow enough time for the return ride.
Winter surfaces and time outdoors
Some access roads may be slippery after snowfall. Drive slowly on snowy or icy roads, and wear shoes with good traction when getting in and out of the vehicle. Ice displays and outdoor buildings depend on the weather and maintenance; what you can see varies by day.
Food and return transport
Dining options in the park are limited, so bring water before your visit and plan to eat afterward in Arctic Village or downtown Mohe. If you arrive by chartered car or taxi, agree on the pickup time and meeting point before entering to avoid looking for a ride after closing.
