Snow Town National Forest Park is in Changting Town, Hailin. Its outer choices include Datudingzi Mountain, the Ice and Snow Gallery and the Primeval Forest Scenic Area. Shuangfeng Forest Farm's China Snow Town is the core village; here, make the mountain scenery and outer-area trip the focus.
Tickets and opening hours
The common combined ticket for Datudingzi Mountain and the Ice and Snow Gallery is about CNY 280–300 and is purchased separately. Core-village tickets have been listed at about CNY 120 and CNY 155, so confirm the actual price before departure. Use 07:00–17:00 as a reference for the park's overall opening period, and check each sub-attraction's announcement for the day.

Datudingzi Mountain
Datudingzi Mountain is known for high-elevation forest views, rime and open snowy landscapes. Snowmobiles are a common way to go uphill. The summit is good for photographing rime and broad snow views. The snowmobile experience and actual summit time can vary, so check what is included before paying.
The Ice and Snow Gallery
The Ice and Snow Gallery mainly offers level-ground snow scenery and is less demanding on foot. It has simple snow activities such as snow tubing and spinning rides, making it relatively easier for older adults and children. Both it and Datudingzi Mountain feature snow-covered trees and rime; choose one if you want to avoid repeated scenery and extra cost.
Connecting with the core village
After the outer-area activities, confirm the core-area ticket and transfer if you plan to continue to China Snow Town. Xueyun Street, the Bangchui Mountain boardwalk and evening activities can be arranged as a separate China Snow Town itinerary.

A one-day outer-area plan
In the morning, choose either Datudingzi Mountain or the Ice and Snow Gallery. Follow the day's scenic-area vehicle or snowmobile arrangements for the ascent, views and descent. After the outer attraction, return to your accommodation, or separately confirm the ticket, transfer and remaining time needed to continue to China Snow Town. Leave extra time for driving, waiting and transfers between the two areas.
Choose the attraction before buying a combined ticket
Check the ticket price and inclusions for each attraction separately, as Datudingzi Mountain and the Ice and Snow Gallery offer different experiences. Choose one according to your group's stamina and the snow conditions, then confirm whether the price includes the snowmobile, transfer and other sub-attractions. Similar ticket names do not mean that both are worth scheduling on the same day.
Get there
From Harbin or Yabuli
From Harbin, take a bus for about 5–6 hours, or travel to Yabuli West Station and transfer for about 2 hours. In winter, self-driving involves a long trip with mountain roads and snow-covered surfaces. Travellers without snow-driving experience should consider a chartered or shared car, or an itinerary with clearly arranged transfers.
The main gate and outer sub-attractions
The main entrance has a ticket office and car park. After entering China Snow Town's core area, transfer to the free shuttle bus. Outer sites such as Datudingzi Mountain commonly require a transfer near Yaxue Station or a snowmobile ride. Cars cannot enter the core village; follow the day's directions for the parking and transfer locations.

Operating periods and prices change
Winter operations depend on snow, lighting, roads, transfers, snowmobiles and the opening of each sub-attraction. Core-village tickets have been listed differently, so confirm the current ticket types, what any combined ticket includes, opening periods and the last transfer for both the core village and outer areas.
Peak periods and snow safety
The reference peak period for tour groups at Datudingzi Mountain is 10:00–14:00; arriving earlier may reduce waiting. Ride snowmobiles according to the day's safety instructions and do not walk on non-operating sections. Keep warm and take care on snow when photographing or getting on and off vehicles; mountain weather changes quickly.
Overnight stays and meals
Erlanghe and Yong'an Forest Farm are usually more suitable for accommodation than the China Snow Town core area. Nearby farm restaurants serve Northeast dishes such as iron-pot stew and chicken with mushrooms. If you plan to combine the outer area with the core village, arrange your return vehicle and accommodation location first, then decide whether the evening lights are feasible.
