Plan at a glance

Waterfront district and central island

Yutian Qilihai Resort (渔田七里海度假区) is in the Qilihai area of Beidaihe New District. It has a commercial street on the shore and a central island with most of the attractions. After parking, you still need to walk or take a shuttle to the entrance. Daytime activities include animal encounters, shows, and rafting, followed by a large water show at night. Allow at least 6–8 hours; stay overnight if you want to catch more performances.

Tickets and opening hours

Adult tickets are about RMB 79–95; discounted tickets are about RMB 42.5, and children under 1.2 m are generally admitted free. No separate reservation is required. Present the QR code and valid identification requested by your order. International visitors should confirm with the ticketing channel how to purchase and verify tickets using a passport. The resort is open about 9:30 am–10:00 pm, and the evening show ends around 9:30 pm. Check the official mini-program after entering for the day's program and times.

Choose your visit

Animal encounters, shows, and rafting

During the day, see Dongwu Bailaohui (动物百老汇), Conglin Maxi Jianianhua (丛林马戏嘉年华), and animal encounters including fur seals. You can also ride the Dongwu Qiyu rafting course (动物奇遇漂流) through animal habitats. Encounters with capybaras, red pandas, giraffes, and alpacas usually cost extra. Choose performances from the day's schedule.

The nighttime water show

The evening Dianliang Yutian show (点亮渔田) includes molten-iron sparks, water lights, and a flower-boat parade; events may also include a large group sing-along. Reference showtimes are 7:50 pm and 8:30 pm, but the program can change. Check the official mini-program after entry for that day's schedule.

Photo spots and timing

The area around the Giraffe Restaurant (长颈鹿餐厅) has softer light in the morning and is a place to pose with giraffes. The Yangcun (羊村) sets work well for portraits, while a wide-angle lens can capture the birds in Dongwu Bailaohui. At night, photograph Dianliang Yutian from farther away or from higher ground to include the lights reflected on the water.

Build your day

6–8 hour day-and-night visit

Check the official mini-program after entering, then plan your morning and afternoon around Dongwu Bailaohui and Conglin Maxi Jianianhua. Reference showtimes are 11:00 am and 1:30 pm. Have lunch on the waterfront commercial street, visit the capybaras or Yangcun in the afternoon, and see Dianliang Yutian and the sing-along at night. Queue 1–2 hours early for popular shows.

One-day plan and next-day admission

A full day is usually enough for the main animal experiences and the evening show. Skip any theater performances that do not interest you. Return for a second day only if your accommodation or two-day product explicitly includes next-day admission; then you can catch shows missed on the first day. Check accommodation benefits before booking. If you plan to stay overnight, check accommodation availability in the official mini-program 1–2 weeks in advance.

Island shuttle options

The resort is large. You can walk or use electric carts and tractor shuttles on the island. Walk onto the island or take the free boat before 5:00 pm. After that, use the walking route or whatever in-resort transport is operating that day.

Get there

Reaching the main entrance

If driving, navigate to “Yutian Qilihai Reception Center” (渔田七里海接待中心) or the resort parking lot. From Beidaihe Railway Station, take tourist loop bus 809 directly to the resort; the fare is about RMB 5. The resort is relatively remote. A cross-area trip to Aranya or Beidaihe often takes more than 40 minutes, so do not try to fit both into the same day.

Parking and shuttle to the entrance

Parking is about RMB 20 per day, and the parking area is some distance from the entrance. Walk or take the shuttle. Spaces are limited in peak season; choose a paved parking area and avoid the muddy edges, where cars can get stuck. Once inside, use the designated island shuttle stops.

Know before you go

Show queues and program changes

Schedules for Dongwu Bailaohui, Conglin Maxi Jianianhua, and the evening show can change. Scan the official mini-program after entering to see that day's program. Popular indoor theaters and the night show may require queuing 1–2 hours ahead; late arrivals may find no seats or only seats at the back. Do not use reference showtimes alone to decide when to enter.

Feeding, rides, and dining costs

Animal feeding costs about RMB 20–30 per session. Some rides, accommodation, and meals cost extra. For lunch, Yucun Suiyue Seafood Dumplings (渔村岁月海鲜大馅蒸饺) on the commercial street can be busy at mealtimes. Viewing spots for performances at Bulukelin Canting (布鲁克林餐厅) require a reservation and may have a minimum spend; ask about the terms before booking.

Accommodation and age suitability

Guesthouses inside the resort make it easier to stay for the night show, but accommodation is relatively expensive. Check room facilities and fees for the specific room type and listing. Shows involve long waits and baby-care facilities are limited, so a full-day visit may be difficult for families with infants under one year old.

Return trip and nearby places

Yudao Haiyang Wenquan (渔岛海洋温泉) is the nearest major nearby attraction, about a 20-minute drive away. Aranya and Beidaihe are more than 40 minutes away and should not be forced into the same day. The night show ends around 9:30 pm. Before leaving, arrange the shuttle from the parking area, a return vehicle, or an overnight stay inside the resort.
