Taiyuan Fantawild Oriental Heritage is at 1 Huaqiang Middle Road, Yangqu County, Taiyuan. The main entrance is opposite the parking lot. The official standard ticket is CNY 280 per person. Platform discounts vary by date and ticket type, with a common range of about CNY 149–199; check the conditions attached to the specific purchase. Children under 1.1 metres enter free. The range is not a fixed transaction price for every date.
After buying a ticket, enter with your ID card; a separate reservation is usually not required. On ordinary operating days, typical hours are 9:30–17:00. Holidays may extend to 21:00 and include evening performances. Before entering, check the Fantawild Travel app for that day's opening, attractions and theatre information. Night sessions, fireworks, drone displays and closing time all follow the day's arrangement.
How much time to allow
On an ordinary day, the usable period from 9:30 opening to 17:00 closing is about 7–7.5 hours. Use it for the three core attractions and a small number of additions. Only on an extended-hours or night-session day does it make sense to plan 8–10 hours or more for theatres, water rides and thrill rides. Popular attractions can have queues of more than three hours on weekends and holidays, so Fantawild works best as the day's only destination rather than a forced pairing with another distant attraction.

Indoor core attractions
“Banni Feixiang (伴你飞翔; simulated flight)” uses simulated flight and glasses-free 3D to present landscapes across China. “Nuwa Butian (女娲补天; 4D motion-track ride)” is a 4D motion-track ride for visitors who enjoy mythological themes and moving seats. Both can develop long queues, so check the app and the on-site lines after entering before choosing which one to take first.
Thrill rides and water rides
“Yongchuang Lu Zu (勇闯鹿族; suspended roller coaster)” is a suspended roller coaster with stronger speed and weightless sensations. “Shenzhou Ta (神州塔; indoor vertical thrill ride)” is an indoor vertical thrill ride. “Dayu Zhishui (大禹治水; water ride)” and “Kunlun Tanmi (昆仑探秘; water ride)” are water rides; prepare rainwear that meets the park's requirements. Height, stamina, fear of heights and willingness to get wet should be considered separately by each family member.
Theatre programmes
Large live productions such as “Shui Man Jinshan (水漫金山; live show)” and “Liang Zhu (梁祝; live show)” run at set times. When a suitable show is available, it can reduce time spent queueing for rides. Theatre times, temporary suspensions and seating arrangements may change, so build the ride order around the day's timetable. Do not plan fireworks or drone displays as fixed shows.

The core route for an ordinary operating day
On an ordinary day, enter and move counterclockwise. Start with “Nuwa Butian (女娲补天)”, then choose between “Banni Feixiang (伴你飞翔)” and “Yongchuang Lu Zu (勇闯鹿族)” according to the queue. Rest around Festival Plaza at midday, then add indoor attractions that are still operating in the afternoon. Make choices within the 9:30–17:00 opening period, and insert the day's app timetable into the route instead of repeatedly crossing the park.
The complete route for an extended-hours day
On an extended-hours or night-session day, start with “Nuwa Butian (女娲补天)” in the morning, followed by “Dayu Zhishui (大禹治水)”, “Shenzhou Ta (神州塔)” and “Yongchuang Lu Zu (勇闯鹿族)”. Leave time to change and rest between water and thrill rides. Eat at Festival Plaza at midday, watch “Shui Man Jinshan (水漫金山)”, “Liang Zhu (梁祝)” or another theatre programme in the afternoon, then decide whether to repeat a ride or add smaller attractions according to the queues and your energy. If the park still closes at 17:00 that day, remove the night theatre and evening attractions.
Splitting up as a family
Children under 1.1 metres enter free, but their choice of rides is more limited than an adult's. Parents can first take children to suitable indoor attractions and theatres, while family members meeting the height and physical requirements queue for thrill rides. Follow the height and safety signs at each ride entrance for that day's rules.

Driving
Drivers can navigate to “Taiyuan Fantawild Oriental Heritage Parking Lot”. Parking is about CNY 10 per visit, with spaces subject to the day's on-site availability. The drive from central Taiyuan takes about 40–60 minutes. On weekends and holidays, include entry queues, parking and the traffic leaving the park in the day's schedule.
Public transport
Bus 905, 804 and other city services can reach the park, but the journey is long. Check the boarding and alighting stops, last buses and return frequency before leaving. After a holiday night session, daytime buses may not cover the entire return period, so arrange another form of transport.
Know before you go
Rainwear and equipment
“Dayu Zhishui (大禹治水)” and “Kunlun Tanmi (昆仑探秘)” involve water. The park may inspect rainwear, and a disposable poncho may not meet its requirements. Confirm before entering what rainwear is accepted and whether it can be brought inside, and pack a change of clothes for getting wet. Rental and purchase prices for rainwear follow the day's arrangement.
Food, water and stamina
Food and drinks inside the park may cost more than in the city. You can bring packaged snacks and a water bottle, and drinking-water stations are available in the park. Walking across the park is substantial; 20,000 steps in a day is quite possible. Shuttle vehicles, fast passes and small attractions may cost extra, with prices and supply following the day's app page and on-site signs.
Night sessions and the return
Holiday extensions to 21:00, evening performances, fireworks and drone displays should be planned using the same-day information in the Fantawild Travel app. Deal with parking and the exit before closing; road congestion after a night session can lengthen the return. Do not buy tickets from unclear sources, and plan around the timetable shown for that day.
