Plan at a glance

Theme and visit length

Tianjin Happy Valley is at No. 2 Donglizhiguang Avenue in the Dongli Lake Tourist Resort, Dongli District. It works best as a full-day combination of thrill rides, indoor experiences, and seasonal performances. A quick visit takes about 4–5 hours; a deeper visit usually takes 8–10 hours. Opening hours change with the season, weekends, and events, so check the day’s notice for other dates.

Tickets and entry

Adult tickets have been around CNY200–230 and evening tickets around CNY150–170, with different ticket types on online platforms. Current prices, document checks, child and student standards, and the evening start time follow the official page. A free shuttle has previously operated from Airport Economic Area Station, but its schedule and pickup point can change, so check the day’s arrangement before setting out. International visitors should confirm passport real-name registration, WeChat binding, and payment in advance. If the online purchase cannot be submitted, contact official customer service first to confirm an alternative entry method.

Choose your visit

Thrill rides and indoor attractions

“Xiawan Feilong (峡湾飞龙),” “Angry Birds,” and “Leishen zhi Chui (雷神之锤)” are thrill rides that should be screened by height, age, and health condition. “Rapids” involves substantial water, so bring suitable rain protection. The XD Cinema and Volcano Adventure can serve as indoor options during heat, rain, or a long wait; operation and queue times follow the equipment status that day.

Performances and seasonal events

“Huo Yuanjia,” the parade, evening lights, and seasonal activities all follow the day’s programme. The POGO Influencer Festival held from 4 July to 30 August 2026 has ended; current seasonal activities should be checked against the day’s programme.

Build your day

A 4–5 hour short route

Check ride availability and the programme after entering. While energy is still high, choose one or two priority thrill rides, then add an indoor attraction and Rapids. Decide at the end whether to watch a show based on the remaining queue time. Prepare rainwear, shoe covers, and dry clothes before water rides, and confirm parking and the shuttle before leaving.

An 8–10 hour full route

Handle the longer-queue outdoor rides in the morning, then rest in an air-conditioned dining area around midday. Combine indoor rides and the day’s performances in the afternoon, and reserve a repeat ride or parade for the evening. If thunderstorms are forecast, place indoor attractions earlier and accept that outdoor rides, shows, and shuttles may pause temporarily.

Get there

Metro and shuttle

Take Metro Line 2 to Airport Economic Area Station, then change to a bus or official shuttle. From Binhai, you can consider Line 9 to Xinli Station and then a bus; confirm the current service before departure. A shuttle may leave when full, so check the final return shuttle as well.

Driving and parking

The park has parking, with a fee of around CNY18 per visit or day and no time limit. On major event days, use the official parking area first. Crowds concentrate at closing, and the walk out may take longer.

Know before you go

Height, health, and weather closures

Each ride has its own height, age, weight, cardiovascular, neck, back, and other health restrictions. Read the sign before riding. Remove earrings, glasses, and other loose items and store them as required. Heavy rain, lightning, strong wind, or extreme heat can pause rides and shows; follow staff directions even when trying to reach a planned attraction.

Extra charges and food

Outside the main pass, haunted houses, escape rooms, children’s activities, and fast passes may cost extra. Confirm the included content and refund or change rules before buying. Food, takeaway collection, and re-entry after leaving follow the day’s management; with few nearby commercial options, plan food for the return trip in advance.

Queue strategy

Queue times for popular rides change with weekends, events, and weather. Handle one top-priority ride first, then use indoor attractions to fill waiting periods. Check the availability, scope, and price of any fast pass separately.

Preparing for water rides

Whether Rapids and other water rides operate, and whether rainwear and shoe covers can be bought on site, follows the day’s rules. Remove loose accessories before riding and change or dry off as directed afterward rather than staying in wet clothes for other rides.
