Theme and visit length
TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park is at 269 Hanbei Road in Binhai New Area. Its main experience is boarding the Kiev aircraft carrier, with the destroyer, submarine, shows, and park transport added according to what is open that day. A quick visit takes about 3–4 hours; a fuller visit takes about 5–6 hours. The vessels are far apart, and summer sun on the decks means you should also allow time for walking, shade, and queues.
Tickets and opening
An adult ticket is about CNY220. Children, students, and older visitors may receive different discounts with the required documents; children below 1.2 metres and some free-admission groups follow the policy in force that day. Weekday hours are around 9:00–17:30, with last entry at 16:30; weekends may extend to around 18:00, with last entry at 17:00. Summer, holidays, and performance days can change the timetable, so use the official ticket channel to check the day’s plan.

Aircraft carrier and other vessels
Inside the Kiev, visitors can see spaces such as the operations command centre, crew living areas, and anti-ship missile compartment. The flight deck and island provide a broader view of the vessel. If open that day, Destroyer No. 133 Chongqing and Submarine No. 353 add different kinds of maritime space. The submarine is narrow and is best for visitors with a clear interest in military equipment who are comfortable bending and queuing.
Shows and the park atmosphere
The times, performers, and effects for “Carrier Storm” and “Stunt Cars” follow the day’s programme and on-site arrangements. Russian Style Street is a place for food and a break. The deck, waterside platform, and distant viewpoints work well for ship photography; stay within the park’s marked boundaries and follow its safety guidance.
Build your day
A 3–4 hour short route
After entering, confirm which vessels are open and check the show programme. If available for purchase that day, take the park train to the more distant area. If Submarine No. 353 and Destroyer No. 133 are open, handle their potentially longer queues first, then return to the Kiev to see the flight deck and island. Follow the park signs back to the exit and do not force every show into a short visit.
A 5–6 hour full route
You can begin with an indoor or live show, then visit the Kiev and place the enclosed compartments in the hotter part of the day. Follow the programme for another performance, then leave time for the deck, island, and distant views. If you plan to enter the submarine, allow extra time for crowd control, storage, and the queue before entry.
Get there
Direct shuttle and public transport
Check the “Tianjin Tourism Bus” mini-program for the direct shuttle departing near Exit C of Jinwan Square Metro Station. By public transport, take Metro Line 9 to Donghailu Station, then take a taxi or change to Bus 127. Transfer time depends on service intervals; families with young children and visitors planning a late show should confirm the return trip first.
Driving and moving around the park
Navigate to TEDA Aircraft Carrier Theme Park. Parking is about CNY10 per day and spaces are generally available. The park is large, so whether the internal train operates, whether it requires a separate ticket, and where it stops all depend on the day’s notice. Check the ticket itself to see whether the train is included.
Know before you go
Submarine access and physical conditions
The submarine has narrow spaces and limited airflow. Phones, backpacks, and drinks may not be allowed inside and may need to be stored by the park. Confirm the day’s storage and access rules on site. Visitors sensitive to enclosed spaces, with limited mobility, pregnant visitors, and families with very young children may prefer the carrier’s exterior and wider compartments.
Weather, shows, and food
Strong sun, rain, and wind can affect the decks, performances, and park transport. Check for cancelled shows and suspended services before setting out. The park has Russian-style light meals and fast food, but nearby dining is scattered; if you plan to eat in Hangu or the Eco-City area, arrange the vehicle and return trip in advance. Food prices and show content may change, so use the day’s information.
What to check after entering
Check the programme and vessel-opening list first, then decide the order for the train, shows, and boarding. If a programme changes, give priority to vessels already confirmed as open and to your return time.
Storage
If the submarine is open, store your phone, backpack, and drinks as directed by staff before entering, and note where and how to collect them. Items prohibited inside must remain in storage rather than being taken into the narrow compartments.
