Liangjiang Cruise means taking a nighttime sightseeing boat to view the lights along both banks of the Yangtze. A typical sailing lasts about one hour. It is a different product from local commuter ferries; Zhiyin has its own performance, wharf, and ticketing, so its departures cannot be substituted for a Liangjiang Cruise schedule.
Wuchang Hongxiang Tourist Wharf is on Linjiang Avenue, and some current routes may pass Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. Hankou Miaojia Tourist Wharf—some product pages may label it Wuhan Pass Wharf No. 2—is on Yanjiang Avenue near Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street. Confirm the wharf, boat, route, and seating against the purchased product.
Fares and departures
Weekday adult tickets currently cost CNY 120–150 per person, while online platform prices are around CNY 90–110. Children under 1.2 m can currently travel free, and children 1.2–1.5 m use a child fare band. Rules and prices change by product, so check the specific departure before buying.
The current timetable typically lists departures between 19:00 and 21:30, with possible times such as 19:00, 19:40, 20:20, and 21:00. The actual display and ticket control the schedule. Popular dates may sell out; after online purchase, allow time to exchange the e-ticket at a window or machine and arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.

Hongxiang Tourist Wharf: bridges and river lights
From Hongxiang Tourist Wharf, some current routes may offer closer views of Yellow Crane Tower, Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, and Turtle Hill TV Tower. The bow or upper open deck works well for photographing the skyline; around the bridge, wait for the lit structure and river to align in the frame.
Hongxiang Tourist Wharf suits visitors building a river view into a Wuchang itinerary. After disembarking, you can walk toward Hubu Alley or Tan Hualin. Whether the boat passes a particular bridge, whether the upper deck opens, and how it docks depend on the boat and the operator that day.
Miaojia Tourist Wharf: a Hankou night combination
From Hankou Miaojia Tourist Wharf, you can visit Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street first, board for the river views, or continue to Jianghan Road and Hankou Riverfront Park after disembarking. The distant view of Yellow Crane Tower and the lights on the opposite bank is the main experience, and the angle changes with the route.
Couples, families, and photographers can all choose Liangjiang Cruise, but the onboard experience depends on seating, deck access, and weather. For photos, prepare a phone night mode and stay within the areas designated by the crew. Follow on-site instructions for flash photography and camera use.

At Wuchang Hongxiang Tourist Wharf, exchange your ticket, wait for boarding, and confirm the open-deck and seating areas after you board. Choose the bow or upper open deck for views of both banks. Some current routes may pass beneath Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, with distant views of Yellow Crane Tower and Turtle Hill TV Tower, over a sailing of about one hour.
After disembarking, walk toward Hubu Alley or Tan Hualin to continue a Wuchang evening. A departure around 19:00 may currently combine sunset with the gradual lighting of the city, but the actual view changes with the season, weather, and route.
Hankou wharf route: Jianghan Road and Hankou Riverfront Park
From Exit C at Jianghan Road Station, walk about five minutes to Miaojia Tourist Wharf, then exchange your ticket and board according to the ticket instructions. After the cruise, continue to Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street or Hankou Riverfront Park. If you visit Jianghan Road first, leave time for Jianghan Customs, the shops, and the walk to the wharf before boarding.
The exact boarding area, boat, and return arrangement at Miaojia Tourist Wharf may change. Confirm whether the product is round-trip or one-way when buying. After the cruise, use the Hankou Riverfront Park exits and the available metro or taxi options; do not assume that both wharves share one route.

To Hongxiang Tourist Wharf
Take Line 5 to Tan Hualin Wushengmen Station, leave through Exit C, and walk about 1 km to Wuchang Hongxiang Tourist Wharf. Before setting out, confirm the exact entrance and ticket-exchange point shown on the ticket. Along Linjiang Avenue, pay attention to lighting on the riverside roads.
Hongxiang Tourist Wharf combines naturally with Hubu Alley and Tan Hualin. If your previous stop is Yellow Crane Tower or Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, include the cross-district transfer and ticket-exchange time in your departure plan. Several operators may use the area, so follow the name and entrance listed on your product page.
To Miaojia Tourist Wharf
Take Line 2 or Line 6 to Jianghan Road Station, leave through Exit C, and walk about five minutes to Hankou Miaojia Tourist Wharf. Its location near Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street makes it possible to combine the street, Hankou Riverfront Park, and a night cruise, but check the boarding time first.
An e-ticket usually needs to be exchanged for a paper ticket at a window or machine, and the queue takes time. If the wharf, departure, or exchange method changes, follow the operator’s instructions and move to the updated point rather than waiting along the riverside road.

Weather, suspensions, and seating
Strong wind, heavy rain, dense fog, and high water levels during flood periods can lead to schedule changes or suspension. Check weather and water-level notices before leaving. If service is suspended, switch to a land route through Hubu Alley, Jianghan Road, or Hankou Riverfront Park, and handle changes or refunds under the ticket rules.
Some boats have a dining area on the first floor, and even free seats may have different views. Whether the upper deck opens, how long you may stay there, and how seating is assigned depend on the boat. After boarding, read the onboard layout and safety notices before choosing a photography position.
Tickets and the night plan
Buy online in advance for popular dates, and finish any paper-ticket exchange and security check before departure. Confirm the fare, child height band, wharf, departure, and route against the purchased product; do not substitute the fare of a low-cost commuter ferry for the sightseeing cruise.
Liangjiang Cruise and Zhiyin require separate tickets and boarding arrangements. Zhiyin is an immersive performance with its own theatrical route, showtimes, and interaction rules. After a Liangjiang Cruise, you can connect with Hubu Alley, Tan Hualin, Jianghan Road, or Hankou Riverfront Park; choose the return direction based on the wharf where you board.
